It was rather late at night, Ranboo sat in the large portal room, a beautiful room built of stone-bricks that was built underneath the manor; the sound of water trickling down some of the mossy and cracked stone bricks. The room was filled with many books, written in both overworld and ender script, there were also many flowers in this room, many of the books holding almost all information about each of these flowers. The desk that stood quietly in the room was covered in different plants, potions, and many ink pots and quills, a soul lantern hanging above it. The enderman was hunched over this desk, tail flicking about as he scribbled into an open notebook writing about the flower 'Belladonna'. "Atropa Belladonna; known most commonly as deadly nightshade. A poisonous perennial herbaceous plant in the nightshade family Solanaceae; sharing this family with the tomato, potato and eggplant. Berries and foliage are extremely toxic when ingested..." He spoke as he wrote, unaware his husband had entered the room. Tubbo called to his lover twice, the muttering man seemingly deaf to his voice as he fixated on his writing. The faun reached out to the monochrome man, recoiling when he jumped; panicking frantically and yelling in thunderous anger as he knocked over the ink well, having it spill on the specimen of Atropa Belladonna. Turning to yell at the intruder, instead of seeing a neutral or threatening person, he saw his husband, fear in his summer-sky eyes... "I... just wanted... Techno wants to talk to you." The fauns voice wavered before he ran out of the room. Ranboo was frozen, the sound of ink dripping onto the cold stone bricks filling his ears as the look on his husbands face burned itself into his brain... vibrant fear. The tears that were forming in his eyes, the pure terror... looking into a small pool of water, Ranboo didn't see himself when he first looked at the reflection... he saw his mother.

Tubbo was stood behind the door to his room, tears pouring down his face as he let out shallow breaths. Pulling on the sleeves of his hoodie and pulling the hood over his head as he curled into a small ball; closing his eyes all he saw was the terrifying bright rage that emitted from his husband, causing his eyes to snap open as he began to cry even harder, a panic attack sauntering into his life. While walking past, Schlatt heard hyperventilating through the door; worried, he knocked before walking into the room, finding his son in a small ball. Immediately the ram pulled the small faun into his arms, compressing him in a tight hug. "Hey, heyheyhey. It's okay, you're okay. It's just me. Who the fuck did this?" He spoke gently, anger lacing his voice as he asked the question. Tubbo shook his head before hugging his dad just as tightly, it helping him calm down more. "Tubbo. Who did this..." he asked again, his son sniffling before he answered. "Ranboo..." The faun whispered. Schlatt snapped. Letting go of his son and storming out of the room the ram yelled "I AM GOING TO KILL THAT PATHETIC MOB!" Tubbo tried to tell him not too, how he was sure the enderman didn't mean to scare him. But the older satyr ignored him, making his way to the garden, which is where he guessed the mob would be, his son chasing after him.

In the garden, Ranboo was picking some Belladonna... looking down at this beautiful yet deadly flower, the endermans heart twinged in pure guilt. "I'm so sorry... mon fleur." He whispered sadly as he thought back to his husband. Standing up fully he turned around and was met with the razor sharp edge of a netherite blade to his throat. "What the FUCK went through your thick skull and let you think you could upset my son." Schlatt spat venomously. The endermans eyes flickered from the blade to the burning rage in his father-in-laws eyes. He was frozen, feeling the blade gently pressed against his skin. "Answer me. You pathetic mob." Tubbo couldn't see them, as they were almost invisible due to the darkness. "It... it was an accident-" "And you really think that's a good enough excuse? You remember what I told you, don't you?" Ranboo nodded. "Then do it... Your son stole my heart. I love him more that I could ever explain or have even imagined..." Tubbo had seem them and began racing toward them both, faltering frequently. "He is the love of my life, I don't deserve to be with him... and I would never purposefully hurt him." Tubbo tripped, and Schlatt stopped pressing the blade to his son-in-laws neck. "I will stop at nothing to make your son happy... so, if it would make him happy. If its what Tubbo wants" Ranboo looked to his husband with a gentle smile, Tubbo stood a few paces behind them, catching his breath "then kill me." Schlatt was frozen... slowly lowering the blade. "Was it really an accident?" He muttered. "My kind... our anger is... terrifying. Even to our own." He said, feeling his husband hug him tightly before he collapsed, the enderman immediately kneeling on the floor to make sure his love was okay.

Schlatt stared at the blade in his hand before dropping it. "I could never kill you... not only because Tubbo would kill me..." he spoke up before hugging the enderman "but you're the only one who is right for him... you... you're my son." They stayed like that for a few seconds until Ranboo spoke. "When I looked at my reflection... I scared myself... because I didn't see myself... I saw..." he hesitated, not knowing what to call her. "I saw my mother." Tubbo held his lovers face gently. "You are nothing like that bitch. You didn't mean to scare me... hell you didn't even hurt me; honestly it was my fault. So don't ever think you're like that monster, you are the most wonderful glow-squid in the world. I love you... nothing will change that." Ranboo smiled softly as his husband said that, feeling his father ruffling his hair before he stood up. "Go get some sleep you two, I'll take the nightshades into your study... And, I'm sorry, I went way too far."
