" how's the knuckles? " takahashi asked as he helped you tape them.
" it feels better, how are your fingers? " you asked in return.
" they're fine, " he replied as he finished taping your hands. he then gave it a kiss before gently releasing them.
the time now was 8am and you and takahashi were ready to head out after eating breakfast. the park opens at 9 but as someone who has been to such parks, you knew better than to arrive on the dot, especially since today was a sunday. it was expected that there would be an overwhelming amount of visitors.
since the walk to the park only took five minutes, takahashi suggested that you both headed down later but basically demanded that you headed out earlier, hence you ended up waiting outside the park at around 8:15am.
" early bird gets the worm, " you said to takahashi.
and you were right, by 8:30 there were long queues of tourists trying to enter the park. you were thankful you decided to come early, if not, the both of you would've been lost in the sea of people.
at 9, the park finally opens and you and takahashi made a beeline to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. in an attempt to beat the queue of the famous attraction, takahashi grabbed you by the hand and basically sprinted towards the area. the devil works hard but your short legs worked harder as they struggled to keep up with takahashi's insanely fast pace. it was worth the run, since you and takahashi were the first few people to reach the area, but of course, you were beyond exhausted.
" it hasn't even been ten minutes, " you panted and hunched over, trying to breathe.
" you said you wanted to be early, " he replied.
you then groaned as a sign of defeat. all he could do was laugh at you as he dragged you on board the world renown ride: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.
it has been a long time since you've come here. you remembered the last time you came to the park, it was an outing with your parents and the takahashi's. at that time, you were too young to ride this ride, hence you didn't have an impression of it.
takahashi claims that he had ridden it once but you don't ever recall him coming to USJ without you. maybe he didn't tell you about his trip. either way, you wouldn't have known.
you disposed your belongings into a locker as you and takahashi headed to queue for the ride.
the waiting line was basically a tour around Hogwarts school. you made a mental note to come again later where there would be more people, just so you could admire the interior designs.
" this ride isn't scary at all! " takahashi exclaimed, " if you're scared just close your eyes. "
" are you sure? if it's not scary, why would they make us keep our belongings away? " you questioned.
