time flies when you're having fun. it was soon time for takahashi and you to go home.
the trip made you realise on how lucky you were to have takahashi by your side. you also realised that living together with takahashi was not an impossible task and even though you both were already close, you felt even more spiritually aligned with him after the trip.
" y/n lets sit here, " takahashi said as he gestured for you to take a seat next to the window.
you both made it in time to catch the morning train home. since there was school the next day, it was a pragmatic decision for the both of you to get home as soon as possible to rest up and get ready for school. being one of the few people to arrive on board the train, you both had a short waiting time before you departed.
you lifted up the adjustable hand rest to lay your head on takahashi's shoulder, which prompted him to lay his head on yours. he then picked up your right hand as he intertwined it with his own. he then traced circles on it with his thumb as he lovingly admired your intertwined hands.
" did you enjoy the trip? " takahashi asked.
" mhmm. but i think i went broke. completely broke. i definitely need to get a job soon, " you complained, " but every penny spent was worth it. "
" that's true. i think i went bankrupt too... " takahashi sighed, " i don't even think i can get a job given that my schedule is going to be so hectic. "
" ah... it's okay. i can work alone. i am a strong independent women, " you laughed.
truth be told, you were a little disappointed that he wouldn't be working with you. and to be even more honest, you didn't care about the pains of physical labour, you just wanted to spend more time with takahashi but that seemed impossible now.

" unagi onigiri tuna onigiri natto onigiri~ " takahashi sang as he peeled one open before shoving it in your mouth.
" phamks, " you thanked him with the onigiri still stuck in your mouth.
" no problem! " he chirped as he peeled one for himself, and then proceeded to eat it.
" oh yeah! " he suddenly shot up again, " before i forget! i made a playlist for you! "
