" was i cool? " takahashi asked, obviously fishing for compliments.
" yeah... i guess, " you teased, pretending to sound bored.
" you guess...? " takahashi sighed.
you playfully nudged him with your free arm, " just kidding, my boyfriend was super cool. "
takahashi gave you an eye smile and then briefly, but tightly hugged you before pulling you away.
" my girlfriend was super cool too! " he exclaimed as he rubbed the top of your head.

" hey! my first ball was a practice round, " takahashi reasoned, " plus, i think everyone found my shot more entertaining. "

you raised an eyebrow as you looked at him but before you could argue back, you felt someone tug onto your jacket. you looked down to see a little girl with pig tails. she wearing the infamous denim minion outfit with a yellow shirt under, as if she was dressing up as one of the minions.
" uhm... " she mumbled.
you squat down to meet her eye level, pulling takahashi down with you.
" hello little girl, how can i help you? " you asked in a gentle tone.
" snoopy... big snoopy... "
but before you could reply the little girl, you saw a women scrambling towards you and takahashi as she shouted " mirai mirai ".
" mirai! don't run off like that! say sorry to big sister and big brother! " mirai's guardian panted.
" oh no... no worries, " you responded as her guardian dragged her away.
mirai looked back at the two of you with a sad frown on her face.
" wait! " you suddenly heard takahashi call out.
he then made his way to mirai and bent down next to her. he then took one last look at his snoopy before handing it over to mirai, who hesitantly took the plushie. the plushie was almost her height.
" take care of snoopy for big brother okay? " takahashi smiled as he gently patted mirai's head.
mirai's guardian immediately responded, " oh no you don't have to- "
" no it's okay, i insist, " takahashi smiled.
mirai now had a wide grin on her face.
" ah... then i thank you... mirai, say thank you to the big brother, " her guardian said.
