Carly's POV
We finally got home and went in, both Jasper and Sean are cooking dinner in the kitchen
"smells good" I said and they both looked at me, Jasper gave me a thumbs up and Sean grinned
"glad you're finally home sis" Sean said as he taste his cooking, I walked up to Jasper and I saw he is baking cinnamon rolls
"you guys will be able to taste my culinary genius" Jasper said to me with his arms crossed, Matt rolled his eyes at him
"what? Do you doubt my skills is that it?" Jasper asked him but Matt hid behind me
"I don't trust his skills for even one bit" Matt whispered to me which made me chuckle, Sean asked me what I wanted for dinner
"I want Carbonara please" I replied to him and he nodded, I tried to help by looking in the pantry for pasta and I found a wine bottle hidden behind so many cans
"what?" I pulled it out "why is there a wine bottle hidden behind the cans in the pantry?" I asked and both Sean and Jasper looked at me
Jasper took the wine bottle from my hand "what a minute we purchased this" he showed it to Sean
"Yeah, we did!"
I was confused "since when?!" why on earth would I buy wine with my brothers?
"what's going on?" Matt asked as he came back from the living room and saw Jasper holding the wine bottle "where did you get that?" he walked closer to Jasper
"We bought it 3 years ago" Sean told him
"oh, I remember now!!" I said
It was after New Year, Mom and Dad were already asleep while me and my brothers were still wide awake playing truth or dare
And it just so happen that the bottle landed on Jasper
"alright I dare you to buy us a bottle of wine" Matt said to Jasper
"where are we gonna get the money to buy a bottle of wine?" I asked
Back then I was literally only friends with Stacy at school and I only see Leo as a Player back then, my hoodie was still my signature style back then that people recognize me from afar even if I hide
Both Jasper, Sean and I were the same height and Matt was only a few inches taller than us. We were troubled on how to convince the cashier that we are adults because our heights were still not tall enough or even our faces
The money we used was Matt's first paycheck, we used Mom and Dad's car to sneak out and search for an open store
We did found one but the guy is a big one very fat and has a beard that is in the cashier
"great you are going to kill me Matt" Jasper said when he saw the guy
"I have an Idea" Matt said and told us his plan
So I went in first and I chose a gummy worm and went up to the cashier, my three brothers went in after me
Jasper went to the beverages and Sean in the chips aisle, Matt went to the wine section and took a wine
The cashier guy was looking at me and I pay up, he looked at my brothers suspiciously
He gave me the extra change of Matt's money "you can keep it sir" I said and smiled at him
I looked at my brothers, it is time for my acting
"guys we better hurry! and get the wine or else Aunt Clarita will beat us"
My brothers went up to the cashier and put the wine bottle on the countertop, the cashier looked at all of us and we try to give off a gloomy vibe
It was taking too long so I looked at the clock and pretended that I was scared and showed it to the cashier guy
"Mister please hurry, our Aunt only gave us a time limit" and I try to look pitiful
He sighed and scanned the wine bottle and put it in the plastic bag, the extra change was used to pay for the wine
He gave us the plastic bag and my brothers went out, I thanked the cashier and I went out too and got in the car. As soon as I closed the doors
"I can't believe it" Matt said
"We did it... WE DID IT!!" Sean said as Matt started the car, Jasper high fived me
"maybe you should take up acting as a career Carly" Matt and Jasper told me and we went home
When we went in we heard footsteps coming down the stairs and we are looking at each other in a panic, Sean gave me the wine and I ran to the kitchen to find a hiding spot for it
My brothers acted like they were still playing after I hid the wine, Mom came down and told us that it was bedtime
The next day we forgot about the wine
"so I'm the one who hid it in the pantry" I said
"but hey we can taste aged wine now" Matt said and put the bottled wine on top of the kitchen counter
We heard the front door open and it was Mom and Dad that finally came home, we smelled something burning
"where is that burnt smell coming from?" Mom asked, Jasper's eyes widened and ran to the oven and he pulled out the burnt cinnamon rolls
"When did you guy buy wine?" Dad asked us since this time the closest store that sells wine now is 7km away from our home and by this time it is closed
"we.." I was thinking of something
"We bought it yesterday for today's dinner" Sean told them a convincing lie
And this is why we are more convinced that Sean must be our eldest brother who was accidentally born as the 3rd son, I heard my phone ring and I went out to the backyard to answer it
"Hello?" I asked who it was
"guess who it is" It was Leo's voice and I smiled
"Leo?" I said and answered in a playful way
"Yup, and by tomorrow I'll come to pick you up by 12" he said with his voice that sounded so sweet talking to me
"ok, I'll see you tomorrow then Leo" I said and I can hear him chuckle at the other line "you too Carly see you tomorrow" and our call ended
I should wake up early tomorrow, that sophisticated lady will be waiting for me
