What Is Wrong With Me

Carly's POV
Leo just keep taking pictures of me from different angles, after the little girl said "Finish!!" she smiled and show me the painting

It's a figure of me with my blue hair and flowers on the ground, I patted her head then ran to Leo to stop him from taking pictures of me

He ran and just keep taking pictures of me as I ran after him, the little girl joined us after

Leo carried the little girl and said "the ugly monster is gonna catch us!!" he said to the girl, she giggled very loud

We were just running around the garden but I tripped on a rock and I fell pulling Leo and the girl down with me, all of us laughed

I heard a camera click then glanced at Leo "did you just.. "

"That wasn't me this time" he said, then we looked behind me it was Leo's mom who brought out her camera and was grinning

"This is going to the family album" and she skipped back inside while humming

I stand up and helped Leo get up, I took his phone from his jacket pocket while he is standing up

I ran and I opened his phone what I saw stopped me from running, the screen lock is me and Bruce at the Merry Go Round

Leo finally catch up to me and saw that I opened his phone, I smiled I looked nice in the picture

I gave him his phone

Leo's POV
Carly smiled at the picture, I don't know why she smiled but it is sending mixed signals in my head

"likes it that she is at the screen lock"

"she must like you"

"she may be happy she looked good in the photo"

Carly gave back my phone to me and eyed me suspiciously "do you like me?" she smiled playfully

I took the phone from her "no, I don't like you but you make a great model for my photos" and I walked away

Carly's POV
He walked away but I feel like my heart broke at what he said
"I should try becoming a model" I joked so that the atmosphere won't become weird again

He just keep on walking but the little girl ran up to me from hiding from a tree

She ushered me to bend down, I bend down and the girl is on her tippy toes and whispered something in my ear
"Sometimes he says something that he didn't mean pretty lady, he is complicated"

What she said made me feel a little better but I'm not sure if what Leo said is really his words, I waved to the little girl

Leo's mom came out and talked to Leo and the little girl "your Aunt Molly invited you two to her lakehouse, she said you can bring your friends too"

The little girl jumped up and down with excitement their mom grinned

I walked to their front door to leave but the little girl keep pulling me "don't leave, stay with us!!" she gave me puppy dog eyes

The mom pulled her apart from me and she apologized for her behaviour
"she usually doesn't act like this"

"it's fine, thank you for letting me in your home ma'am"

"forget the formal talk just call me Libby and this is Kathrina" she gave me a thumbs up and waved goodbye to me

I left the house because I cannot find Leo and I walked back home, my home is actually just past the park that I am going to pass-through

I was about somewhere in the middle of the park when snow fell from the sky
"snow?"

Snow was falling everywhere slowly, it was quiet and the cold breeze just start coming in

I pulled my coat tighter on me, I feel someone put a thicker coat over me

I looked to see that it was Hunter
"Hunter?"

He didn't answer but he only gave me a warm smile and pulled his coat tighter to me
"aren't you cold?" I asked as I noticed that he has nothing to cover him with the cold

Leo's POV
I was sitting on our outdoor couch when I feel that someone flicked my forehead
"Ouch Mom!!"

Mom sat beside me
"you date a lot of girls but you never seem to understand their feelings" she commented and sipped a cup of warm coffee

"huh, it's snowing"

I looked up and it really was snowing, there was a cool breeze that passed by us

Mom went inside and called Kathrina to get in, I realized that Carly went out with a thin coat only she might get sick

I ran out of the house and looked for Carly, I was near the park and I saw Carly looking up at the snow

I was about to walk to her but then I noticed a tall figure gave her a thick coat, she looked at him
"Hunter?"

Hunter didn't answer but from behind I only saw him pull the thick coat tighter to her and he held her wrist, they walked further away from me and I can see their backs as it gets smaller and smaller

"What is wrong with me" I looked at the coat I am holding as I was supposed to give it to Carly

I walked back home

Carly's POV
"Hunter you might get cold" I said in a worried tone, we stopped walking

"don't worry I won't get sick that easily" and we continue to walk

I found my house and I said to Hunter
"My home is right here thank you for walking me back home Hunter" I smiled at him

He was about to walk away but I realized I haven't returned his coat yet
"Hunter wait!!" I ran to him, he turned around

I gave him his coat
"wear it, thanks for lending me your coat"

He smirked "there is no need I'm okay"

I sighed "No you are not going to be okay, like it or not you have to take care of yourself if not for you then do it for me" I said as I make him wear the coat

He rolled his eyes at my remark "okay mom" he just chuckled at me

I grinned at him and I waved goodbye to him, I walked back to my home
