Chapter 41

I woke up in a dark room, the only light was from the moon coming in through the windows. I tried to move but my hands were chained behind me, along with a metal collar around my throat that was also chained behind me. My mouth was covered with duct tape.

"So you're awake." They started walking over to me "Don't even think about trying to escape." He ripped the duct tape off of my mouth. "No one will be able to hear you scream."

"Go to hell." I spit in his face.

"And here I thought you were gonna be a good girl for me."

"As if, Hao."

"Hmph." He replaced the duct tape on my face.

He stood up and walked over to the door. "I'll be back in the morning."

After that he left and moments later I heard the low hum of a car as it drove off.

I licked around the tape and managed to make it fall off so I could breathe better.

"He's just gonna leave me here all night? Talk about careless."

The chains rattled as I pulled on them and tried to get my hands free but it was no use.

I was scared. I had no idea what he would do to me. But I sure as hell wasn't gonna show him that just so he could get off. That bastard.

There was a window near me. Maybe I could find out where I was.

I tried standing up but I was only able to get to my knees as I leaned over as far as I could to look out. All I could see was trees. Was I in a forest?

Finally taking a look around the place I was in it looked like a tiny cabin. There was only a small bed next to me, a tiny bathroom by the looks of it, and not even a kitchen. It was only a small fridge and oven. There was nothing on the walls and a lightbulb held up by the wire hung from the ceiling.

"Where the hell am I?"

The next morning I woke to a door opening and closing. It was only when I tried to move that I was reminded where I was and that I was locked up.

"Have a nice sleep kitten?"

"Don't call me that." I spat at him.

He looked over his shoulder and scowled, "I'll call you whatever the fuck I want."

"They'll find you. Tetsurou and Kou won't stop until they find me."

He laughed, "Those guys? They won't find you." He walked over and crouched in front of me. "I don't even think they're looking for you."

"You're lying."

"I don't think they are. But me?" He put his hand on my cheek. "I won't let anyone come between us. I'll make sure of that."

He stood up.

"You're crazy."

"Crazy in love. You know, ever since I left that day I couldn't get you out of my head. Now you're all mine. And I'm not letting you go." He cooed at me, "Where's that smile kitten? You belong to me now, aren't you happy?"

When I didn't reply he bent down again and grabbed my chin roughly. "I asked you a question. If you know what's good for you, you better answer me."

I said nothing.

"Fine then."

He grabbed a key from his back pocket and unlocked the lock that was holding the chain attached to my wrists and neck. I was confused until he grabbed the chain connecting my wrists and dragged me out of the dingy place and dragged me around the back. When I saw the small doors that led underground, my blood ran cold.

I struggled against the chains that held my hands behind me. "Let go of me!"

"If you would do what you're told we wouldn't have a fucking problem, would we? Though we both know how stubborn you are. Looks like I'll have to do something about that.."
