Chapter 9

Your POV

The next day I woke up in Tetsurou's bed and him and Bokuto had slept on a futon on the floor.

When I sat up I realized that it seemed strangely quiet. I got up and peeked in my parents room and it was empty. After running downstairs I noticed it was also empty. There was a note laying on the coffee table with a bunch of cash laying beside it.

'Your father and I will be on different work trips for at least a couple months and I am not positive when we will be back. I've left you two more than enough money and if it comes to it I can send more.'

"YES! FINALLY!"

I ran back upstairs with the note in hand and burst back into Tetsu's room.

"TETSU!" He and Bokuto jumped from the sudden outburst and were both now wide awake.

"Whaaat?" He whined.

"Look!" I gave him the note I found and was practically jumping for joy.

"Oh thank god. If they stayed any longer I would've died." He sat up from the futon and yawned.

"Now come on! We're going out for breakfast!" I yelled and ran out of the room to mine.

After taking a shower (which stung like hell) and all that I put on a long sleeved black mesh top with sun and moon designs on it with a black bralette under it and a black skirt. I also paired it with fishnets and my black combat boots.

I couldn't stand the bright and girly dresses my dad would always put me in. That's why I was thankful he wasn't here.

I walked downstairs to see the boys waiting for me and Bokuto whistled when he saw me which caused Tetsu to smack him on the back of the head and laugh.

Tetsurou wore black ripped jeans and a black shirt with a red flannel over with the sleeves rolled up.

Bokuto had on black ripped jeans also and a simple gray shirt. He also had on a white snapback hat on that he turned backwards.

We headed out and went to a cafe that wasn't far from the park. While eating we laughed and talked about random shit.

"So," Tetsu spoke up, "I assume you have something you want to do today since they're gone." He said and looked at me.

"Duh. I've been needing new knee pads for a while and the video game store at the mall just got a new shipment."

I saw a couple boys around our age walk in and as they walked past our table one of them whistled and catcalled me. He came over beside me while his friends watched.

"Hey baby~" Baby? Really? "Why don't you come and hang out with us? I'm sure we could show you a good time~."

As he tried to snake his arm around my shoulder Bokuto, who was sitting beside me, grabbed him by the wrist stopping him and I smirked.

"I have no interest in little boys, or do you need a babysitter?"

Tetsurou was glaring daggers at him and from the look of his face it seemed like Bokuto was about to snap his wrist in half.

He quickly pulled his arm back, scoffed, and walked away mumbling angrily to himself.
