Chapter 15

Your POV

I walked over and sat beside Bokuto with two sodas in hand and handed him one.

"So when are you going up there?" I asked him as I sipped my drink.

"I don't sing."

"Oh but you'll dance?"

"Okay, it was just the three of us then and that was a game." He said laughing.

"How about this?" I looked over at him, "If you go up there and sing, I'll do it with you."

He thought for a moment, "Fine."

It would be a little bit before we went up there though since we would let the others have a turn at singing. Though Chiyo walked up on stage once again and grabbed a mic.

"Okay everyone! I think it's time they open their presents!"

Yaku and Lev sat two chairs on the small stage and some of our friends including Bokuto, Chiyo, and Yaku were standing by the stage while everyone else was sitting on the long couch.

I turned to Tetsu beside me and laughed, "I feel like a child."

"That's probably the point."

I first opened a present from Chiyo. I pulled out a small bag of my favorite chocolates from the store.

Next was a present from Kenma and he had gotten me a switch.

"What!? Kenma these are so expensive!" I yelled over to him and saw Tetsu also got one.

He shrugged, "They were on sale."

"Still." I felt kinda bad.

I'd been wanting one forever but was never able to get one.

After a couple more presents a small one caught my eye. I picked it up and saw that it was from Bokuto. It was small enough that I figured it would be jewelry but when I opened it my eyes widened.

"Bokuto you didn't!" I yelled at him.

"I did."

I jumped from the stage and ran over to him jumping in his arms with my legs around him.

"I can't believe you!" I giggled as he spun me around.

"Wait what is it??" Tetsu asked and I held up the two tickets in my hand.

"Tickets to see my favorite band in concert!"

I turned back to look at Bokuto and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you!"

Once I walked back on stage Tetsu asked me with a smirk, "You're taking me right?"

"Hah! No!"

"What!?"

"I'm taking Bokuto since he got me the tickets. Besides you don't even listen to this band."

"Fair enough." The others laughed at our bickering.

After opening our presents I ended up with a bunch of chocolate, some jewelry, makeup, a new volleyball, video games, and of course the concert tickets.

So far I was having the best night of my life.
