Chapter 10

"I was just walking around the neighborhood and couldn't help but notice a friendly face" he said, "okay well go ahead and continue with your walk I don't feel like being friendly at the moment" I said, "no need to get all rude just wanted to say hi" he grinned I rolled my eyes and stood up but before I could walk away he grabbed my arm

"don't start with me right now Zac I'm really not in the mood" I growled, "chill I just wanted to ask if you were okay" he said calmly, he let go of my arm gently and I looked at him "I'm fine" I said then I walked off I have to get some rest before I go to school it was around 12am and I was tired I decided to go to the hill me and Harry went before when I got there I sat down under the tree and waited till I fell asleep

Few hours late (it's 7am)

I woke up to my phone going off I looked at it and sighed

I closed my eyes and my phone went off again I looked at it and saw that this time it was a message
Lou🐻: If you are going to run away can we at least stay in contact so I know your okay?
Read 7:15am

I got up and started stretching then started walking to school when I got there only a few people were there I started going to my locker when I saw Zac standing there we made eye contact and I turned around he ran up to me and grabbed my arm I looked at him "what do you want now Zac"

"It's just umm you didn't seem okay yesterday I mean your eyes were red and you still look tired" he said, "that's a new way to say I look horrible isn't it" I said, he shook his head "I just umm... okay look I'm sorry about all the shit I've been doing" he sighed, I pulled my arm back and nodded then went to my locker with him following behind me "if you were really sorry you would help me out with something" I said, he nodded "okay sure what is it" he asked,

"you see them over there... I need you to keep them away from my locker and make sure they don't see me then meet me by the cafeteria" I said, he nodded and went over to Niall,Louis,Harry, and Liam I grabbed all of my stuff out of the locker and went to the cafeteria I waited for him "thanks dude and by the way you never needed to apologize" I said, "it's all good so you gonna tell me why your dodging them" he asked, I shook my head

"anyway I have to go see you around yeah" I said, he nodded and I walked away going to the principals office I walked in and closed the door behind me sitting down "Zayn hi what can I do for you" he asked, "well I'm dropping out and I just wanted to tell you" I said, "and why are you dropping out may I ask" he asked, "it's just not what I want to be doing right now" I lied, "you have had straight A's since elementary and your throwing it all away cause you don't think school is for you" he said

"look I'm not trying to disappoint you or anything okay just take me out yeah" I sighed

"well I'm sorry but I need parent permission first in order to do that" he said

"okay well what if I just do it online from now on will that work" I asked

"maybe it's up to your teachers as long as your doing your work I'm sure they'll be okay with it" he said, I nodded and got up I opened the door and walked out Zac stepped in front of me "sorry to bother you just wanted to make sure you didn't need anything else" he said, "I mean you asked so if you don't mind can you go to all my classes and pick up any work they have for me please" I said

I started walking and he was right behind me "yeah sure but I don't know where your classes are" he said, I pulled my schedule out of my pocket and gave it to him "my locker combo is right at the top once you get it all just put it in my locker...." I stopped and turned towards the lockers making it seem like I was opening it as Liam walked by "he's gone now" Zac whispered, I turned around and looked at him "thanks for doing all of this see you around" I walked off leaving the school
