"Hey, how are you doing?" Jimmy asked as I took my seat on the stage.
"I'm great, thank you for having me," I replied with a smile.
"So, since the last time we met, what's changed?" he asked, as the audience settled down.
"Well, I've been invited to the Grammys and the BBMAs, which is huge. My travel documentary is also halfway done," I said, taking a sip of coffee.
"About your travel documentary, what can we expect to see?" Jimmy inquired.
"Traveling has been my escape since I was 18. It's like your daily commute to work and then coming home. I wanted to document not just the famous spots, but also those small, often overlooked places we miss during short travels," I explained.
"BTS and you being friends is no secret, especially with J-Hope. Will we see them in the documentary?" Jimmy asked, prompting cheers from the crowd.
"Hobi and I usually hang out whenever we're free, and occasionally with the boys. I haven't traveled extensively with them yet," I winked at the audience, "but you might see them in the documentary. They're a big part of my life, so if my life is shown, they'll be too."
"You worked with Dior earlier this year. How was that experience?" Jimmy asked.
"It was amazing. I hadn't worked with major fashion brands before; I mostly collaborate with small businesses that need a boost. Working with Dior was a fantastic opportunity, and my dad was thrilled about it," I said. Jimmy laughed and nodded.
"You've been quite the tabloid sensation lately, especially after the gala. Care to elaborate?" he asked carefully.
I chuckled and nodded. "It was a family event. I wore a dress that some thought was provocative, but it's okay. Everyone has their own opinions."
"Your YouTube channel has 15 million subscribers, and you're also popular on Twitch. How has this boost affected your life?" Jimmy continued.
"It hasn't changed much, considering my mother's flashy lifestyle in the business world already influenced me. However, social media has made things different—in a good way. I'm grateful for the support, especially from J-Hope and the boys. They've given me a family in Korea when I felt alone. It's wonderful to have their backing," I said, reflecting on our journey.
"Has the hate ever bothered you?" he asked.
"It does, especially now with my work contract with BigHit Entertainment. I spend a lot of time in the studios—documenting, editing—so I see J-Hope, RM, and Suga frequently, and sometimes the maknae line drops by. Jin and I usually eat together, which creates quite a bit of chaos in my life," I admitted.
"I know it might be a bit of a sin to ask, but who's your favorite BTS member?" Jimmy asked, causing the crowd to cheer loudly.
"Oh! I'm not answering that. I've been an Army since the early days, and I'm glad my mother dragged me to Korea in 2013. I found my passion and my best friends there," I said, laughing. "You're avoiding the question, Y/n," Jimmy said with a chuckle.
"I'm not. I've been an Army for about five years now, and I've never revealed my bias. I hope to keep it that way; otherwise, I'll get killed by the other six," I laughed. "One day, you might," Jimmy said, and I nodded with a chuckle. "Maybe," I replied.
"How was the interview?" Seokjin oppa asked as I settled on the couch.
"It was good. I enjoy interviews. I've been there quite a few times, but never as the interviewee. It was interesting," I said while cutting my steak into pieces.
"How's practice?" I asked as he took a sip of water.
"Tiring. We'll be back in a few hours," he said, nodding.
"Oppa, you go practice. I'll eat and chat with you when you're back," I said with a smile. He agreed and ended the call.
They have a show tomorrow, and their schedule is so hectic that it would be exhausting if I were an idol. But they do it for the Army and for themselves. Their passion fuels their drive.
