"You WHAT?!" Screamed Ginny, unable to believe ears.

Leona just nodded silently, tears pricking her eyes.

"How could you have been so STUPID?! Never mind even talking to a Malfoy, but befriending one! I can't believe you would betray us like that!"

Leona stood in front of the other four Gryffindors, all who were sitting.

Ginny had now stood up, fists clenched at her sides. Ron's teeth were gritted, anger evident on his face. Harry sat, mouth agape at the brunette, unable to comprehend the betrayal she had committed. Hermione just sat, eyes trained on her lap, hands wringing together.

Leona's eyes snapped up from their position on the floor.

"I-I didn't mean to!" She shouted, suddenly getting angry, "So you really think I would let myself fall for that cold-hearted monster on PURPOSE! Of course I didn't want to, I didn't know it had even happened until I felt the pain of those three words. Why would I want to give my heart someone who hates my guts purely because of who my parents are, I couldn't help it, stupid! I can't choose who my heart decides to love, I CAN'T!"

Breathing heavily, Leona stopped and stared at her friends, all of them staring at her with the same stony expressions.

"Love?" Ron spat, "Love for that 'thing'? I'm out of here, this makes me sick."

With that he got up and left the room, slamming the portrait shut to which the Fat Lady yelled in protest.

The other's stared to leave slowly and Leona pleaded, "Please don't go! I'm sorry, if I could take it back I would!" They just ignored her and walked away in silence.

Leona rushed up to her dorm, tears overwhelming her along with a sense of loneliness.

She had no friends anymore, all because of Draco. He was going to pay.

Leona sat in Defence Against the Dark Arts, staring out the window, watching the clouds float across the sky, creating unnameable shapes.

Leona giggled at the shape that looked like a rabbit pushing a baby's buggy.

"Leona! I do hope you have been listening, what did I just say?" snapped Snape, glaring at the girl intensely.

"Um...I don't...did you...?" She looked around helplessly but her fellow Gryffindors turned away from her. She stuttered, trying to grasp onto any whispers or any clues but came up with nothing.

"Detention, today. At 6 o'clock, don't be late."

Leona frowned, "B-but sir? That's at the same time as dinner?" Surely she wouldn't have to skip dinner, especially when she had eaten hardly anything for lunch today. She had been feeling sick at the thought of losing her friends.

Snape smirked, "Oh, well that's a real shame isn't it." He had an evil glint in his eyes, and Leona felt dread creep up on her.

Draco spun around to face her and his face held his infamous smirk that infuriated Leona to no end. Before she knew what she was doing, she yelled, "Draco called me a 'Mudblood'!" Leona knew that Snape would get him in trouble and she was right.

"Draco, detention after classes at 6."

"I didn't even say that!" Draco shouted.

Snape glared, "That word is not to be used in my class. Detention."
