A/N: Welllll, this whole "vote for new chapters" thing isn't really working out lol. All I'm asking is that if you at least like my books, then you will please follow me, because I don't have much, even though I've been on wattpad for a while. My books may not be that great, but I mean, give me a chance XD Okay yeah so back to the story:

Diggy POV:

A white ray of sun light hit my eyes as soon as I opened them. The alarm was ringing, so I quickly smacked the button on the top of it to stop the annoying, constant ring. It was almost 8:00 in the morning, and both Emerald and I had to be in two different places by 9:00 in the morning (me at my job, and Emerald at her new work place).

I cautiously shook Emerald's shoulder to wake her, and her eyes opened almost immediately. "Good morning, Baby," I whispered in her ear. "You should probably start getting ready, while I start breakfast." She kissed my cheek, then rolled out of bed, and I watched her walk away, closing the bathroom door behind her.

I got out of bed, and stood up as I stretched my muscly arms. I groggily stepped towards the kitchen, and picked up a pan. I went to the cupboard and got a bowl, and a few other things, and went to the fridge to get some eggs.

A few minutes later, our breakfast of cream cheese bagels, eggs and a glass of milk were ready. Emerald stepped into the kitchen, in a stunning baby-pink business dress, and a vintage pink and white Louis Vuitton hand bag.

"How do I look?" she questioned, as she spun around, smiling wide. "You look amazing. You're gonna impress them." I said, smiling back at her.

"Okay, well here's breakfast," I said, looking down to admire what I had cooked, laying on the table. "Just... eat, and I'll get dressed, I guess." I said, rubbing my forehead with frustration. I really hated mornings like this, where I had to rush around. It just wasn't relaxing, whatsoever.

"Uh, okay." she said, staring at me strangely before pulling out a seat at the table, and sitting down to enjoy her breakfast.

I ran back to our room, and dressed casually. I didn't really need to dress very out-there, because I'm just an apprentice, and plus, my boss is pretty chill so he doesn't mind what I wear, unless it's clearly not appropriate.

I pulled on a black t-shirt, and some white jeans. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, and then shaved. I also sprayed some cologne on myself, and exited the room, taking my car keys with me.

I went back to the kitchen, and Emerald and I ate in silence. The food was good, but the silence wasn't. I guess Emerald is just nervous, because she's going to her new job today. I looked up, and Emerald's plate was empty. "You ready to go?"

She looked up and grinned. "Yeah, I think so. I'm just really, really nervous. Do you think I'll do well?" I guess I was right.

"Yes you will, believe me." I said, grabbing her hand as I looked into her piercing green eyes. "Now let's go."

We both walked out of the house with the things we needed, and walked towards the Matte-Black Range Rover sitting in our drive way.

I helped Emerald into her front seat, and then walked to the other side of the car, getting into mine. I started the car, and pulled out of the driveway.

About twenty minutes later, we pulled into the parking lot of a big building. "So this is the 'headquarters' I see," I said smiling. "Yes it is. Well, goodbye. I'll call you later." she said smiling, as she put her hand against my cheek, and kissed my lips.

I watched her walk away.

Emerald POV:

As I walked towards the big building in front of me, my head was filled with what felt like almost a million thoughts. I was very nervous, and I couldn't stop tapping my feet against the elevator floor on my way up to the floor I needed to get to.
