Captain (Chris Redfield x reader)

Chapter 1

"...."
I stare at myself in the mirror while playing along with my hair, I took a deep breath before releasing them out. Today is the day I would be moving to a new team, (y/n)(L/n), a BSAA member from the beta team. I would be moved to the alpha team, even though I waited for so long to be in the alpha team. I look at the clock on the wall and it reads 6.00 am, I have to be at my new captain's office at 6.45am. I style my hair into a bun and look at myself then give the mirror a smile. When I get all my belongings and leave my old room, a man walks in and waves at me.
"Ready to go (y/n)? We'll miss you" he said while giving me a shy smile, I only replied with a gentle smile. Of course a fake one.

I arrived at my new home and team. I wave at my ex- teammates and walk to my new place, when I'm at the front door, someone smiles at me. He has styled hair and tan skin, after he saw me he gave me a wave. 
"You must be the new member, correct?"
He smiled, a wild smile. I took a deep breath and fixed my posture while tugging a smirk on my face.
"Yes, and you?" I tried not to sound rude to my new teammates.
"Damien, nice to meet you" he said
"(y/n) nice to meet you too" I smiled and shook his hand. When we walk in the building Damien looks at my luggage and points it out.
"That looks heavy, but I think the captain should be waiting for you in his office" I stared at Damien, how am I supposed to know my new captain's office is, he paused and chuckled.
"Sorry, I forget you don't know where his office is" he said and led a way to the captain's office. The building looks oddly the same as my last building, we walk to the room at the end, the captain's room seems normal like other rooms but the door looks a bit different. I checked my posture one last time, I knew that no matter how friendly captains are, first impressions are important.

Damien knocked the door and waited for a reply, there was a pause for a moment and the door swung open. A man that I assume is my new captain opened the door, his body definitely built differently than mine. He has a strong jawline, a nice bulky body and short haircut. He has brown hair and hazel eyes, the same colour as mine.
"I'll leave the two of you to talk" he said and gave me a wink then walked out of the room. I look at my new captain and take my hand out
"(y/n) (L/n), pleasure to meet you sir" I said and gave him a smirk smile, he shook my hand and tighten his grip
"Chris Redfield, nice to meet you too" he said and gave me a really gentle smile. More gentle than any captain I ever see, he looks at my luggage. Both of my teammates looked at my luggage and seemed to be surprised. I looked at my own luggage as well and there was nothing wrong. When I looked up he handed me a key, I looked at him in confusion but then realised that it's my room key.
"Your luggage seems heavy, go put it in your room and come back" he said and opened the door for me, I smiled and walked out of his room.

I walk straight to my room and walk in. After I closed the door I collapsed on the ground and screamed on the inside, I could feel that my face was burning red. I cracked my poker face and lied on the floor.
'Hold it together (y/n), you can do it' I thought to myself then took a deep breath, how could I keep this act on? Nobody knew about my secret, I work so hard to be in the alpha team and the reason? Because the captain in the alpha team is incredibly handsome, and even more beautiful in real life. I adjust my breath and look at myself in the mirror, my face is still burning. I went to the bathroom and washed my face to refresh my mind. Before leaving I look at myself in the mirror again before spinning around to check that everything looks perfect or at least decent enough, first impressions are always important. I take a deep breath and put on a poker face again. When I walk out I saw the two people looking at me
'Did I scream too loud?' I thought to myself and before I could say anything both of them walk in and wave
"Hey, you're the new member right? Nice to meet you, I'm Nadia" she said and shook my hand. She has short black hair and has some makeup applied. I feel ashamed that I didn't apply any makeup on. She points out to the other man, he has a dark skin tone and short haircut
"His name is D.C" after she said that he waved at me I smiled at him while tugging a smirk on my face.
"Need to go somewhere?" She said and look at me, I nodded my head
"Yeah, captain tell me to go to his room" after I said that Nadia push her elbow to my side
"Already have some connections with our captain, eh rookie?" She teased me, I kept my poker face even on the inside. I was wishing for it to be true.
"Hmm who knows" I said, placing a smile in the corner of my mouth, I walked off to the captain's office and left both of them to marinate in my sentence.
