Chapter 5

"!!!" I gasped and spring myself from a seat on helicopter, Chris come rushing to me
"(y/n) you alright?" He said in a worry tone
"Yeah,I'm fine sorry I couldn't help professor" I looked up to him he shook his head
"It's fine we're going there to rescue her and end the person who did this" he said then gave me a needle with vaccines inside, even though I saw lots and lots of corpses needle still scare me. I turn the other way and wait for him to inject me with those vaccines
"It'll be quick" he saw that I am terrified of a small needle. I shot down hundreds of the undead, got thrown into a wall by bio.organic.weapon and much more but I still can't handle the pain from injection. I held his arm when pain rushed in my body from the needle but quickly disappeared after he took the needle out. I gasp from that terrified experience but I still cling on his arm after a moment that I realised I was still clinging on Chris' arm I released my hands and felt heat rushing up, goodbye an image that (y/n) (L/n) who was known to be fearless and emotionless.
"S...sorry" I said quickly and looked down, Chris chuckled and smiled. Stop, stop captain you will melt me with those stupid smile I blush hard. I tried to make people around me think that I'm embarrassed because I was scared of needles instead of me blushing for our dearly captain. I look over the laptop there was something on it, I turn my attention to it
"Is this the virus Arias has infected people with?" I asked while looking at the screen Leon nodded his head
"Yeah, I was going to tell you about the plan after you done those romance"
"What makes you think that?" I asked Leon while trying my best to keep poker face on.
"Well you were holding your boss' arm without thinking and you always consider his action before yours, it's pretty obvious what happened here"my face turned red and trying to think of a word anything would be fine. My head didn't come up with anything, it was just blank.
"Oops did I break you (y/n)?" He said smirking, I frown
"Whatever you said Mr. Kennedy needles are in fact scary" I said and crossed my arms trying to change the topic "so what's the plan?" I asked bluntly. Leon scoffed and start to tell me about the information I was missing out from sleeping
"Okay, so Arias wants to infect people with an airborne virus? Aren't that going to be obvious?" Both of them looked at me "like if they were going to deliver those airborne viruses by truck, it would be weird to have a truck with masked people on it right?" I said in confusion. But Chris shook his head
"No, the spread is going to be quick so even if it is weird nobody will have time to react" Chris said while I tried to follow and nodded my head. Before we left the helicopter Chris was concerned about my body, to which I replied that I was fine, I checked my gears and my uniform again.
"Are you sure that you're fine (y/n)?" He said again I nodded my head
"Yeah boss, better then when I got injected with that needle" a chuckles can be heard around the helicopter as I joked
"Hey don't laugh, it's more scary than what it look like" After I joked Damien show us a camera that show the tank spreading the virus
"Arias is not trying to turn thousand, he try to turn them all" Leon comments D.C said through the radio that these virus have the same burning point as gasoline
"I wish we could get to Rebecca first, but the priority is those tankers" Chris said, "D.C, Nadia and Damien you guys work on the Osprey" he added Nadia nodded her head. When we landed I adjust myself one more time and look out where there are a bunker type of car and a motorcycle
"That's the best they can do for us" Nadia said I lower my eyes
"I want—" before I can finish my sentence Leon yell
"dip on the bike" he said looking at Chris, he nodded his head I rolled my eyes and sigh. I guess there is no time to argue about who got to ride the cool looking motorcycle.

When we saw the tanker Leon throw a grenade underneath the tank, it blew up and one of Aria's pawns ran out to attack us. I shot him without hesitation. Chris walked out of the car after me. Before he could say anything the van in front of the truck started banging, I pointed my gun at the door there's more banging. I don't dare open the door, whatever is inside will attack me for sure. With enough force the van's door burst open and all the zombie dogs ran out, it was so fast that we couldn't even hit them with our bullets.
"God this is ridiculous" I mumbled then I realise that dogs are dogs after all so worth a shot, I took out a grenade from my back pocket and yelled
"Who's a good boy!" I grit my teeth, all the dogs look at me " is it you? Or is it you?" I point out at one of the dogs, it wagged its tail somehow this is adorable
"Then go get this!" I pulled the trigger and threw it out, those zombie dogs followed the bomb and the next second the bomb exploded. I look at the dead dogs
"That work?" Leon looked at me, I shrugged.
"I'm surprised as you too" I said then hopped back into a bunker car, now we're going to get professor Chambers. However Leon said that he'll blow up some more tanks then he will follow us.
