Chapter eleven: The afterparty is always a mess

Taehyung: "Because we are her stepbrothers. So we have the right to interfere with this situation!"

I was still processing what happened. Everything moved so fast but slow at the same time, this is for sure the effect of all the alcohol. A few seconds ago I tried to tell Lucas that I have seven stepbrothers... But now the secret is out before I could say anything else. Why did he decide to kiss me right there and then? I tried to say something but Lucas reacted way faster. He quickly stormed out of the closet. I tried to run after him but someone got in my way.

Jimin: "Where are you going?"

You: "Where do you think? Looking for Lucas of course! I need to explain things now, thanks to you all!"

Jin: "Please, don't shout Y/N."

You: "What kind of behavior do you expect from me otherwise? That I would be grateful for what you did? That I would say thank you for breaking our promise?" 

Taehyung: "I'm sorry Y/N for telling him. I don't know what came over me."

Just when I was about to talk back Mark, Taeil, Taeyong and Sorn walked in the closet.

Sorn: "Are you okay Y/N? We saw what happened..."

Mark: "Why didn't you told us sooner that they are your stepbrothers?"

You: "Can we talk about it later? We need to find Lucas."

Taeyong: "We tried to stop him but he got away from us. Maybe he's outside for some fresh air."

Taeil: "We should all go look for him. He can't be that far."

Sorn: "I'll help too! Let me inform Yeeun and Eunbin first, they can help us as well."

Sorn quickly left the closet, and soon after that the room. I got out of the closet as well with Taeyong, Mark and Taeil. We were about to walk out of the room when a voice stopped us.

Namjoon: "Wait! Let us help you! If we search with more people we might find him faster."

You: "It's better if you all go home. I think you've caused enough trouble for today, tomorrow and the rest of the year."

J-hope: "Let us at least stay so we can bring you back home afterwards."

You: "I don't need a ride home. I have two feet that I can use to walk myself home."

Yoongi: "Are you insane?! You're not walking alone in the dark all by yourself."

Taeyong: "Don't worry, I'll bring her back home when we cleared things out with Lucas."

Taeyong wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I think he understood me at that moment. I don't want my stepbrothers around for a moment. I need to do this myself, like I always do. My stepbrothers seemed to agree with Taeyong's plan because they did say another word. Or they are just scared to make the situation a lot worser if they would argue. Taeyong guided me out of the room, Taeil and Mark followed us.

Taeil and I decided to look outside in the garden. Maybe he went there to clear his mind for a moment. Taeyong knew that Lucas borrowed the car of his parents, so he went outside to check if the car was still there. Mark was looking inside. 

Taeil: "I don't think he's here."

We've been searching for ten minutes straight. Mark's garden is so huge. I stopped for a second and leaned against a tree, letting out a frustrated sigh.
