"I always hated cases like this. Because in cases like this the child can sometimes get taken away from the person that is and will be the better parent to them." the judge started.

"But in this case though, I've had the privilege to have met Annabell before all this started." the judge said with a big smile on her face. Melissa and her husband, Oliver...looked at me before looking at the judge.

"With me knowing Annabell, I can tell who will be the best choice of a guardian for Annabell. I've also been able to see how much she has changed since I have last seen her. That's why I have made the decision that I have." the judge said, looking at me.

"Annabell Jane McDonough will stay in the custody of Blaine McDonough. Melissa and Oliver Davis, if you want to see your daughter or hang out with her.....then you have to ask Mr. McDonough. Case closed." the judge said before hitting her gavel on the desk. She got up and walked out of the room. I smiled as I looked at Blaine. He has had a smile on his face. He walked over to the walkway before walking over to me. I stood up and hugged him the second he got to me.

He hugged me back. "I told you, you did not have to worry," Blaine said as I felt a few happy tears fall. I buried my head in his chest, still scared that I will lose him. He put his chin on the top of my head before he started to rub my back.

The hug seemed to last forever. I'm just so happy that Blaine is still going to be my dad. I can not imagine what my life would be like if he and Julian did not pick me up that one day.
