LEERA POV

He broke the hug while his eyes fixed on me and then he came towards us and Carla followed him after

"What's up man!" Louis hugged him. "Great. You?" Aze hugged back

"Good. This is Leer-" Louis was about to introduce me to him as he thought Azezal didn't know me but Azezal interrupted.
"Leera.. We met before" Azezal stated straightly staring at me and Carla looked at us with a hint of suspicion

''WOOH how do you guys know each other? Didnt expect so'' Louis uttered raising his eyebrow. Of course how would he even have any hint about my past with Azezal

'W-We met upstairs when I went to washroom'' I affirmed hesitantly before he could utter anything stupid further. I just didn't want anyone to know that and it's his engagement and I'm not here to spoil things. Nobody can tell how freaking anxious I'm right now but I know exactly how I'm feeling. I just want to run away from here

"Ooh that's great" Louis continued "Finally the mains are here. Let's start the main party"

Then all the guests and everyone surrounded Azezal and Carla while I remained on my place silently taking everything in. Suddenly I felt someone nudging me, I smiled at Aaron. He held my hand and I let him. I still can't believe this lil cute guy is Azezal's nephew and Elina is his sister. Literally they are no where near to him! Although when me and Azezal were something I didn't knew much about his family nor ever saw any of his family members

"Looks like Aaron likes you too much. He's not even leaving your side" Elina said with a sweet smile, standing by my side. "Seems so. Your son is literally too cute" I smiled back at her. She utterly gives off an angel vibe and her brother woohh the big bad guy with a gun. Unbelievable

Then I heard everyone cheer loud as Azezal was about to put a ring on Carla's hand now. Somehow it's hurting me... I know it's hurting me... but why? I stared at the guy, that one guy who I ever loved in my whole life and l know very well now loving him is the worst decision ever. Aaron was still by my side clutching my hand tightly, If he wasn't holding my hand maybe I would have left getting a chance. Honestly I have no urge in me to witness anything here or even be a part of his engagement party

Instantly his eyes reached to me and I frozed. His grey eyes, those were the eyes once I seek comfort and those terrifies me now. He's holding the ring just before putting it on her hand but his eyes fixed on me while everyone kept cheering aloud. Then his eyes drifted to the ring in his hand, he slowing bought that ring near her hand and finally made her wear the ring. Everyone clapped and seemed enlightened but it was me who's feeling something that I should never feel and I would never allow myself to feel

Everyone cheered for them to kiss now. He eyed me again maybe to see my expression but I kept my face blank. I don't know why I couldn't stand here anymore.

"I-I need to... drink some water, can you leave my hand" I whispered to Aaron forcing a smile on my face. "I can bring you some" He said and instantly left to fetch me some water before I could say something else. Louis and Elina is busy in the ceremony, maybe after they are over with this I'll greet them goodbye and leave from here. It won't look good if I get out of here without telling anyone and disappear in the air all of a sudden. Maybe I'll wait a bit more after they get apart from the other guests.

Every other were busy with the ring ceremony and I had no interest. Like why am I even here, I would have never ever came here if I even had a hint of who's engagement it actually is

After a while which was actually some seconds, I could see Azezal leaning to kiss her and I felt something again. Maybe I shouldn't be standing here

I made my way away from everybody. They all were surrounding and cheering the groom and bride to be. Just beside the hall there is a balcony... actually a long, big and nice one. I stood near the balcony glass fence and looked around. It gives a very good view of the back yard of this mansion.
