Sonic/Splatoon Crossover (Story Mode: Octo Expansion)

Chapter 5: The Third Thang

Shadow and Agent 8 have 4 lines of the Metro Trials completed and only 6 left, with the remaining 2 thangs hiding.

"Line E seems to be missing from the Trials." Agent 8 said checking her CQ-80 device.

"It's not missing. We just haven't revealed it yet." Shadow said as he set his CQ-80 device to Line E. "Let's get it revealed."

*Timestamps below. Shadow takes on trials 1, 3, 5, 7, and 11. Agent 8 takes on trials 4, 6, 8, 9, and 10. They will both take 2 and 12 together, because of the boss fight, and the third thang location.*

Shadow and Agent 8 brought the thang to the train as they went back to the station.

"Mad props my dogg! You have found the third thang!" Telephone said. "There is just one more to find. The promised land awaits. Do not [SLANG_NOT_FOUND] yourself."

"I wonder why we haven't found Agent 3 yet... Should I put up a 'Missing Agent' poster?" Cap'n Cuttlefish said as Shadow and Agent 8 nodded 'Yes' "Good idea! Gimme a second..."

Cap'n Cuttlefish drew a sketch of Agent 3 and showed it to them.

"How's this? Nailed it, right?" Cap'n Cuttlefish asked.

"Lookin' good!" Agent 8 replied.

"Let's see... What were some of Agent 3's other features?" He asked.

"Her skin tone was a peach color." She replied.

"Hmm, you know, you might be right... Anything else you remember?" He said.

"Her eyes were blue." She replied.

"And at the bottom... 'Have you seen this girl?'." He said.

"No doubt! That's what she looked like. At least now that I remember again." Agent 8 said.

"OK... I'm all done!" Cap'n Cuttlefish said as he finished.

He put the Missing Agent sign on Telephone so anyone can see it.

"Should be easier to notice if I put it here." Cap'n Cuttlefish said.

"Yeah." Shadow said in agreement. "Oh yeah. Since you know more on the Agents, think you could do a sketch of the rest of them?"

"Sure thing." Cap'n Cuttlefish responded. "I'll do it while you and Eight are working on the rest of the trials."

Shadow and Agent 8 went back on the train, as Cap'n Cuttlefish followed behind them. The doors shut as the train went back down the tunnel again.

'I'm kinda shortening the chapters amount. But at least I'm making some changes. Go back to the video until Octostomp fight ends.'

(After Octostomp is defeated a third time...)

Agent 8 and Shadow were back on the train. Agent 8 now has 53 Mem Cakes. Shadow got a mysterious part from Octostomp.

"I wonder what device this part is for." Shadow thought.

"Hey, Agent S2. I finished the sketch." Cap'n Cuttlefish said.

Shadow went over to Cap'n Cuttlefish as he showed them a sketch of Agents S, T, A, and K.

"So that's what they look like? They do look a bit familiar." Shadow said looking at the sketch.

"Well, they did say they're from another world." Cap'n Cuttlefish responded. "This sketch is of my granddaughters."

Cap'n Cuttlefish flipped to the next page of Agents 1 and 2.

"Their names are Callie and Marie." Cap'n Cuttlefish continued.

"Hmm... well, at least I know what they look like now." Shadow said. "Once we reach the surface, I'm gonna find them."

With a mysterious device part in Shadow's possession, who knows what it's for. And with half of the Metro Trial lines complete and three thangs found, only one more remains...
