Chapter 11: Climbing Out

Shadow was placing in the final Mem Cakes as Agent 8 now has all of her memories back.

"Did it work?" Shadow asked. "Do you have your memories back?"

"It did work." Agent 8 said. "I remember everything."

"Alright." Shadow said. "Looks like we're nearing the station."

The train went down the tunnel as it stopped at the station. The door opened as Shadow, Agent 8, and Cap'n Cuttlefish came out. The door shut behind them as the train went back in the tunnel.

"Well... next stop, the surface!" Cap'n Cuttlefish said.

Shadow and Agent 8 approached Telephone as they answered him.

"Are you ready to visit the promised land?" Telephone asked.

"Let's go!" Shadow answered.

"This is it. Are you [ERROR] ready to ascend to the higher plane?" Telephone asks again.

"For sure!" Agent 8 answered.

"The promised land awaits. Are you ready to join something bigger than yourself?" Telephone asks for a third time.

Shadow and Agent 8 looked at each other and nodded.

"OK!" They both say at the same time.

"Congratulations, number 10,008! The door to the promised land will now open!" Telephone said as bolts of lightning were flying out of him.

The Missing Agent sign fell off and the back panel broke off. The four thangs floated over forming a device with Telephone was on top. The four thangs formed a giant blender. The front of it opened as it became active as Telephone said: "Please, step right inside! Here we go! Do not be shy!"

"Home sweet home-here we come!" Cap'n Cuttlefish said as he entered inside.

"This seems suspicious." Shadow said as he and Agent 8 entered.

"W-wait a second! Is it just me, or... Uh... Does that look exactly like a blender?!" Marina said realizing what happening.

"WHOA WHOA WHOA YEAH HOLD UP! This just got seriously sketchy!" Pearl said as Shadow, Agent 8, and Cap'n Cuttlefish were now in the top area of the blender.

"INGREDIENT ACQUISITION COMPLETE... REFORMATTING MATTER..." Telephone said as the blades of the blender started spinning.

"HEY! What did that thing say?! You let us outta here, you stupid phone!" Cap'n Cuttlefish said as this was getting bad.

"OH CRAP! WE'RE GONNA DIE!" Shadow said.

"Marina! They're gonna get smoothied! YOU GOTTA DO SOMETHING!" Pearl said in panic.

"I'm... trying... None of my hacks are working... I can't get in!" Marina said. "I'm going to activate the distress signal on the Agent's CQ-80's. Cross your fingers!"

Agent 3 then broke in from the sealing breaking them out of the blender. Shadow, Cap'n Cuttlefish, and Agent 8 were saved thanks to Marina's hacks.

"Holy mackerel-we made it?" Cap'n Cuttlefish said worried.

"We're saved." Shadow said relieved as he stood up.

"BOOYAH! Man, that was way too close..." Pearl said.

"Sweet! The distress signal worked!" Marina said.

"AGENT 3?! Is that really you? Where have you been?!" Cap'n Cuttlefish said as he saw Agent 3 knocked out on the floor.
