Hexside(-Monster) Middle School(Vampire Amity x Luz)

The Convention (Re-edited)

Luz P.O.V. 

'I know that I'm the kind of girl who was obsessed with fantasy magic shows and movies and books but before that, me and mama used to watch telenovelas and a few sitcom shows which made me laugh and sometimes cry. Most of the sitcoms that I and mama watched were pretty hilarious especially where the main character ends up being asked out to prom by two different people and has to be with both of them and ends up revealing that he was at the dance with someone else. Those were funny, but what was my favorite was when the main character would say that he would stay away from someone and he promised it and then the scene would cut to the next day to show that he is with the same person that he promised that he would never see again. Which was a funny moment but, when I came to the Boiling Isles I thought that my life would be a lot like from the books and shows and movies but, how come...?'
There I stood ten feet away from the entrance to the Emperor's Coven demonstration where she stood in front of... Amity Blight with her red angry face, and glowing red eyes while her fangs started to grow sharper as well as her fingernails.
'... This is scarier than what the sitcoms make it out to be?!' 

Amity then asks me with blood raged look in her eyes as well as in her voice, "What are you...?" 

I cut her off and finish her question which feels like a mistake, "Doing here, with you, here after you told me to stay away from you?" Amity growls causing me to panic, "In my defense; How was I supposed to know that you were going to the Convention in the first place?" Amity, with an 'I don't believe you' face lifts her right brow up in response. 

Her eyes wandered onto my shoulder and asked, "So, how's your shoulder?" 

My body becomes stiff from her question causing me to place my right hand over my shoulder where Amity healed/sucked blood from in defense causing Amity to look down in shame, I answered back causing her to look up again, "Y-Yeah. It's doing fine. I was surprised that you are a--" She then stops talking causing Amity to flinch. 

Amity looks at Luz who is back three feet away, Amity then walks up to Luz and asks, "What was surprising?"

Luz then says nervously, "That you're a... Vampire." 

Amity's eyes widened in heart as she suspected that someone nearby heard what Luz had just said and pulled her closer by tugging her right wrist close to her face a little more and saying to her, "Don't say that out loud and or in public. How do you even know about that? That information was lost, how did you find out anyway? How much do you know." 

I then answers, "W-Well... Enough to know about why are Vampires able to withstand the sun in Boiling Isles. And why were the other Vamps were banished from the Isles." 

Amity's eyes widen as she asks me, "Give me that information, now. Or else I'll--" She was cut off by a nowhere push suddenly pushing me to Amity's face causing both of our lips to collide kissing one other. I pull back as I fall on my but with both of her hands on her mouth while blushing while Amity stands still while processing what had just accrued. 

Luz then says while backing away, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." 

Amity's right eye twitched with anger and mostly hatred. She begins to walk towards Luz causing her to crawl away, eventually, running away on her two legs. 

Amity begins to chase Luz, who eventually runs all around the convention, and begins to try to lose her in what appears to be large beginner structures for the Constructions Coven. It was mainly an old building from Wild Witches' time and some new buildings as well. As I walked into the beginners section I began to turn my body around to see if Amity was around. And she wasn't but I spoke too soon. 

"What else do you know about Vampires?" Amity asks out loud creating an echo. 

I answer back, "I know that Vampire can't stand the sun so they cast a spell on the sun allowing them to hunt during both the day and the night so... The witches from back then sent them to a world where they're magic can't be used at all. So..." 

Amity then shouts, "So, they were led to a slaughter!! All of them!!"

Luz then adds, "But not all of them," Luz shouts as she turns her body around on the watch for Amity, "You're the only Vampire left, so either there was one Vampire left and they made a family or... One of your ancestors was a Vampire, weren't they? And either your entire family are vampires or, their DNA has been passed down onto you."

There was nothing more than silence from Amity while Luz was waiting for an answer from her. 

Amity then answers, "Yeah, you're right. For the last three years, I have been draining blood from monsters and mostly kids from my classes. Their blood was plain and tasteless. But yours, it's different from the other blood that I drink from. I want more of your blood, I can't even get the taste out of my mind." 

I start to become nervous at the thought of Amity jumping me out of nowhere and biting me. 

"Please, I am begging you to stay away from me... I don't know what is different about you but... I don't want you to get hurt, so, STAY AWAY FROM--- AAAHHH?!" Amity was stopped by something that caused her to scream followed by a sudden yellow glow from behind a building where Luz stood in front of them. 

She turns around only to see Eda walking up to her with Amity tied up. Eda says to Luz after she puts Amity on the ground, Eda then says with a disapproving face, "You said that you wouldn't see her. 'What are the chances', you said." 

I laugh nervously responds back, "Oh come on, what was percentage that I was going to see her here, anyway?"

Eda groans and says back, "Come on. Let's head back home," Eda turns to the door and walks away with Luz following suit, "And you and I are going to have a long talk once when we're back." 

I groan from the news, I turn my head slightly to look at Amity unconscious and still tied up as we walk through the door I am greeted by King who asks, "So, what are those chances again?"
