Chapter 7- The Lake

Tw- Mention of alcohol, cigarettes, abuse

*Tubbo's pov*

I didn't really think I had the guts to run away, or even had a thought to. I always remember a time when I had a happy family, but when Dream left everything went down hill, I remember how heart broken my parents were, they always went looking for but came out empty handed.

Father rarely drank back then, but when mother died, he went to alcohol and soon later cigarettes to cope with his problems. I don't get why he did it, to feel something again? To be happy? I remember father used to call me Bee and that I was his sunshine. So why would he hurt me? For awhile I thought it was normal, till one of the maids got into a fight with father, saying it was wrong, but the poor maid got slapped in the face and got told to and I quote "Fuck off"

I asked father that him hitting me was wrong, but that just went to me being slapped across the face, I still remember the sting from his hand hitting my face, and later that day he beat me, saying why I was the way I was, and called me very, very terrible things that I wish to forget.

"Tubbo! TUBBO!" I snapped of my thoughts by Ranboo shaking me.

"Whats wrong? Why are you crying?"

Crying? When did I start crying?

"I-im fi-ne really!" I said my voice cracking.

"Tubbo. Your crying, your clearly not fine" Ranboo said worry laced in his voice

Ranboo put one arm around my waist pulling me closer to him, while the other went to my face cupping my cheek, lightly rubbing it.

"Tell me what's wrong Tubbo" He said.

I sighed.

"I don't want to talk about it, its just some bad memories" I didn't want to tell him, I didn't want to burden him with my problems.

Ranboo sighed knowing Im not going to tell him.

"Fine, I guess, just tell me when your ready" I smiled and nodded.

We continued to walk in the forest, not really caring if we get lost, eventually we found a lake a very beautiful lake, that made me forget my problems, I gave Ranboo the puppy dog eyes saying if we could go to the lake, and it worked.

The lake was a beautiful blue color it looked like it was even glowing.

I smiled, it was so pretty here.

"Its so pretty, right Ranboo?" I asked turning around to see him staring at me.

"Yeah, but not as beautiful as you" he said smiling, I blushed and looked away.

"Aww you all flustered now? I was only complimenting you" He said chuckling.

I took in a deep breath and looked at his beautiful eyes.

"So umm do you think we could umm dance?" I asked with hope in my voice.

"How did it go to me complimenting you, to you asking me to dance?" Ranboo asked but I shrugged and he rolled his eyes and smiled.

"Yes I would love to dance with you"

I smiled and wrapped one arm around his waist and interlocked our other hand. Like our dance yesterday.

It was beautiful, it felt like I was heaven and at some points Ranboo would spin me.

Soon we stopped and he dipped me, his arms around my waist and mine around his neck.

We leaned in and we kissed, it felt amazing just like the first two times.

Ranboo stood us back up still in our kiss. We broke apart breathing heavily and we smiled at each other.

"Can we go swimming?" I asked.(please for the sake of the story pretend Ranboo can touch and go in water just for the plot...)

"But we don't have swim suits?" He said, I rolled my eyes.

"We can just use our boxers to swim in or if you want just wear your pants" I said and I unhooked my arms from his neck and he let go of my waist.

Of course me being me, I just started to undress infront of him. I looked at him, he was looking away a blushing mess. I giggle and finish getting undress only leaving my boxers on and went into the lake it was cool, not to hot and not to cold.

I looked back to Ranboo to see him still standing in the same place.

"You gonna come in or no?" I said, he took in a deep breathe and started to undress, I tried not to stare but it was hard not to. But I held myself together and didn't look.

I heard him get in and I looked to see him in front of me, I smiled again and he returned it.

I swam over to him and wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck, while his arms were holding me up.

"Hey there sexy~" I flirted.

Ranboo's face turned bright purple and I chuckle.

"Oh that's how you want to play~" He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer and our lips were inches apart, he smirked and put our lips together, it wasn't a soft or passionate kiss like our first but a rough kiss but still full of love, as far as I know Ranboo would never hurt me in anyway and that includes sexually so he didn't do anything to push that boundary, he pulled away and we gasp for air, now I was the blushing mess.

I tried to speak but no words came out of my mouth.

"Did I fluster you so much that you can't say anything?!" He said chuckling and I just looked away.

He rolled his eyes and picked me up bring us back to grass.

We put our clothes back on not caring that we're wet.

*Quack*

My head shoots over to the lake to see two ducks, I ran to the edge of the water looking at them. They made me think of Benson and that he's all alone at home.

I thought for a moment and looked at the ducks and smiled.

"You can be Benson the second" I said pointing to one duck and then pointed to the other.

"And you could be....hmmm how about

Quackity!"
