Your heart fluttered when your gaze fell onto Sana from where you stood backstage.

You felt a rush of excitement as you thought about finally coming face to face with her once again.

It's been almost nine months since you last saw her. Today marks your second anniversary and all this time, you both felt unsure if you'd see each other again.

Between her busy activities with TWICE that seem to never slow down these days and your career as a successful solo idol, you're both so busy that you've barely got time to sleep, let alone see each other when you're far apart.

You've had to make it through these months with phone calls, texts, FaceTime, and Skype.

But most days and nights, you're both so insanely busy you sadly don't even have time for more than a text goodnight or good morning.

But that all ends today.

You're just impatiently waiting for the girls to give you the signal to come out and surprise her since they're in on the entire thing.

And since your relationship is very public, you're not afraid to do what you've got planned in front of the world.

You waited impatiently and kept your eyes on your girlfriend the entire time.

Seeing her having the time of her life as she performed with her best friends in front of the fans that adore her greatly made you so happy.

It was about forty minutes into the show when they finished up likey and Jihyo decided to make a little speech, so Sana thought.

"Sana, how are you feeling tonight?" Jihyo asked, wrapping her arm around Sana's waist as she kept her mic to her lips.

"Good," Sana giggled, clearly confused as she stared at her friend with big curious eyes.

"I know that today is yours' and y/n's second anniversary," Jihyo said and a sad smile tugged at Sana's lips.

Suddenly, the fans started to scream louder and Sana was busy talking about how much she misses you.

But she jumped with a small gasp falling from her lips as you covered her eyes with your hands.

She quickly pulled back and turned around, expecting to find one of the girls standing there.

She went wide-eyed when she saw that it was you.

You began to sing the song that you and Sana decided was your song pretty early on in your relationship.

You knew all eyes were on you. You knew the moment was being captured by fans with their phones who would be sharing this all over social media later on.

But you couldn't care less.

All you could see was Sana.

As you sang and held her hand, at last, it was as though no one else existed. Everyone disappeared.

All you could focus on was Sana. You could only focus on the stars in her eyes and the fast beat of her heart against your chest as she stayed close to you.

She was smiling through the happy tears in her eyes.

She quietly sang along with you, not missing out on the chance to sing along to her favorite song.

When you finished, she pushed her lips onto yours for the first kiss you've shared in so long.

Everything felt so right. For the first time in what felt like forever, you felt so happy.

You missed the taste of her lips and the way her lips moved against yours.

You missed the way her kisses made you feel, that rush that comes along with every sweet brush of her sweet lips on yours.

You missed the way she held onto you, how the sparks just fly everywhere around you.

You missed her.

She pulled away and put her forehead on yours. She shed a couple of tears of joy before burying her face in your neck. You closed your eyes and held her as tightly as she was holding onto you.

You felt so content.

The moment couldn't be more perfect.

The girls cooed before throwing their arms around you both, turning your hug into a huge group hug.

You and Sana laughed as they squeezed you both tightly.

"We're so happy you're here!" Momo said.

"Happy anniversary, lovebirds." Tzuyu teased as you all pulled away.

"We have to get back to the show..." Jeongyeon said quietly and Sana frowned.

"You'll be backstage, right? You're not leaving?"

"No, Sana. Not for a long while. I'm here, I'm not going anywhere." You said and stroked her cheek until she was smiling and leaning into your touch.

"I love you. Happy anniversary." She whispered and pecked your lips.

"I love you too. Happy anniversary, my love. We'll celebrate when you get off stage."

She nodded happily and gave you a quick hug before you walked offstage and left to go wait for her in the dressing room, looking forward to the show ending so you can see hug and kiss her more.
