distance - part two (requested)

Sana tapped her foot on the ground as she looked all around the crowded airport. Her heart was racing in her chest, pounding against her ribcage as she impatiently waited to see you.

She's got a show in a few hours. Usually, that would be what her mind was focused on. But today was different.

The distance and the time zones and the overwhelming sadness you both felt as you spent more and more time apart became too much for you and Sana.

Last night, after being on FaceTime for over two hours talking about how much you missed each other, you agreed it was time to finally break the distance.

You booked the earliest flight and she promised she'd be there to pick you up when it landed.

She arrived early and she was running on only an hour or so of sleep. Her excitement kept her up for most of the night, despite the exhaustion she felt after performing.

But you felt the same, texting her almost all night just to share your happiness about finally reuniting.

She heard the voice over the loudspeaker say your flight had landed. She gasped in excitement and stood on her tiptoes to look everywhere around her in hopes that she'd see your face.

And finally, after a moment of looking all around, she saw you from across the room. You both froze on your feet and stared at each other in shock before you started to run to each other.

When you were finally close enough, she brought you into her arms and spun you around with tears of happiness in her eyes.

"Hi, baby," she smiled as she set you on your feet, gazing at you with shiny eyes.

To her, you've always been the most beautiful girl she'd ever laid eyes on. But she still swears, somehow, you've never taken her breath away so much.

"You look so beautiful."

"I'm in my sweats and one of your shirts!" You giggled as she put her arms around you to pull you close.

Her forehead fell onto yours, her fingers brushing locks of hair behind your ears.

"Exactly," she said, making your heart flutter. "It feels so good to see you face to face rather than through my phone screen."

"I know. I'm so happy to see you."

She leaned in and gave you a little sweet kiss. It didn't last long but it was perfect. It's the first one you've shared in months and it was one of the best ones you've ever shared.

"But you're stuck with me for almost two weeks."

"Oh, joy," she teased and threw her head back with a laugh as you playfully and lightly hit her shoulder. "Kidding, kidding. You know two weeks would never be enough. Don't get me wrong, I'm over the moon just to have you by my side at all. But I love you."

You kissed the corners of your lips and hugged her close.

"C'mon, let's go to the hotel."

You nodded and she helped you with your bags before you rode back to the hotel. As soon as you were in the room and your bags were on the floor, she was lifting you into her arms and carrying you to the bed, where she gently laid you down and hovered over you.

She wanted to cry again from the happiness she felt and you were quick to notice how quiet she was.

"What's on your mind, baby?"

"You. Always you." She whispered as she stroked your cheek. "I'm just so thankful for you. I hate when we're apart but I love knowing I've always got you to go home to. I love knowing that you're always on my side. You make everything so much better and I'm so, so in love with you."

"Oh, Sana," you smiled before stealing a kiss from her lips. "I love you so much."

"Love you more." She whispered against your lips before kissing you again, this time deeper than before. "I have a show in a few hours but until then, I'm all yours." She said in between kisses. "Anything special you want to do?"

"Just this." You said and felt her smile into the kiss. "I just love you and want you to keep holding and kissing me."

She nodded and held you a little tighter as her lips continued to move softly against yours, more than happy to spend some of her free time giving you all the kisses your heart desires.
