"Are you ready to go on our lunch date, baby?" Sana asked as she entered the living room, finding you waiting for her on the sofa with your phone in your hand.
But as soon as you saw that she was ready to go, you slipped it into your pocket to give her all of your attention.
"Yeah," You said as you stood up and took her hand.
You shared a quick kiss after she closed and locked the front door, before making your way to the car.
"I can't wait. This is our first lunch date in how long? Forever?"
"Feels like it." She answered with a bright smile.
You got into the car and she started to mess around with the radio, flipping through the stations to find something to listen to on the drive to the restaurant.
"Oh, shoot!" You said, faking a look of worry.
"What is it, baby? Everything alright?"
"I think I forgot my wallet."
"That's alright, my love. No need to worry about it. I'm paying. It's my treat, remember?" She assured as she put her hand over yours.
"I know but I want to have it with me, just in case. I still need that peace of mind." You said before unbuckling your seatbelt with a sigh. "I'll be right back."
You shared another quick kiss before you opened the passenger door.
Sana pulled her phone out, deciding she'd just hook it up to the stereo and you'd listen to music that way since the radio was playing nothing either of you liked.
But as you got out of the car, you watched her closely for a few seconds before you loudly closed the door, causing a shriek to escape her lips and her phone to slip out of her hands.
It was unexpected and she'd nearly jumped out of her skin at the loud sound.
"Y/N!" She yelled as she put her hand over her pounding heart.
You laughed as you got into the car once more, reaching down to grab your wallet, which you showed her through your laughter.
"Gotcha!"
She put her head back against the seat with a groan.
"You know, there were a couple of grey hairs that I spotted yesterday in my hair. You're the reason behind them." She said with an unimpressed expression as you laughed harder.
"Oh, you're just mad that I got you good with a prank you didn't even see coming."
She stuck her tongue out at you before she folded her arms over her chest with a pout.
"You almost gave me a heart attack."
"I love you," You said as you threw your arms around her.
"Yeah, yeah," She grumbled as she put the car into drive.
"You know that I do."
She looked over at you before you kissed her cheek softly.
"I do." She smiled. "I love you too. But don't scare me like that anymore today. I don't think my heart can handle it."
You burst into giggles once more, so happy you succeeded in yet another prank on your sweet girlfriend.
