The light sound of footsteps could be heard through the halls of the Cadmus warehouse. A white haired man in an ironed black suit swiftly stepped into the small office labelled 'Lillian Luthor.' The man stepped into the office clearing his throat to gain attention from the Luthor sitting still at the desk.

Lillian's gaze shifted to see the man, "Ah, President Baker, nice to see you here." She set down the papers of projects being done and stood up moving over to him.

Baker acknowledged her with a nod of his head. "I figured I would come and see what progress you've been making," he said maintaining eye contact with Lillian.

"We have managed to create a new version of Medusa that will ultimately destroy all aliens including Kryptonians, obtain one of the Kryptonian-Metahuman children, and our research on the Red Kryptonite is going quite well." She paused to take a breath, "Might I ask what you have done to help with our operation?"

The President's eyes widened momentarily as if he were shocked by this question. "Well I've blocked some satellite transmissions to keep your work secret, and I have spies in each government organization including the DEO. I've even sectioned off an area of land just outside National City. All that is needed now is the Red Kryptonite, the Kryptonian, and the other aliens with image inducers."

Lillian smiled widely with the tips of her mouth reaching up to her eyes and wrinkles forming around her face. "Excellent, I assume you would like to see the alien then?"

The President smiled in return and responded with "I'd love to."

The Luthor walked with the President, hooking her arm around his as they went through the plain halls. They pushed open a heavy metal door and entered the small cell room holding a small unconscious form lying in the middle.

"Time to wake up my little alien," Lillian whispered as she pressed the button controlling Bella's collar. In an instant, the Danvers whimpered and squeezed her eyes tightly shut. President Baker watched with peaked interest and an even brighter grin as Bella groggily sat up.

"Th-the president?" Bella asked out of curiosity, ignoring the searing pain in her hip from the bone graft.

Lillian nodded, "You're lucky, you get to meet him in person before you meet your end."

"I thought you would've been a little more feisty like your mother but I guess I was wrong," Baker said kneeling down to meet Bella's eye level.

"What... do you want?" The alien asked with a hoarse breath.

"I want nothing from you except for your blood and I already have your bone marrow. I wish to make the public realize how terrible aliens can be and then the rest is up to Mrs. Luthor," he explained.

"I won't reveal my plan just yet. Rest up, you'll need it for tomorrow and if you even think about escaping, remember that Henshaw is more than happy to beat you close to death," Lillian declared before leaving with the President and leaving Bella to her own devices.

Kara flew into the DEO with her feet softly landing on the balcony beneath them. She quickly made her way to the briefing room after catching a glimpse of her sister there. Alex was talking to Morgan who was her daughter about something as Kara walked in. The elder Danvers had previously finished a briefing when her daughter came in.

"We will find who took your pickles Morgan," Alex said, almost yelling as she brought her hand to her head while furrowing her brows.

Kara cleared her throat so she would get the two to stop arguing and face her. After the attention was on the Kryptonian she began to ramble. "Bella was taken and the last known place she was seen was when I dropped her off with Lili and Evan. She was supposed to go off to Star Labs with Barry so they could talk but she never ended up there. I fear that Lillian has her considering she just escaped jail and it was bad the last time that Lillian had her."

Alex placed her hands lightly on Kara's shoulders to stop her pacing. "I will get all of our satellites up and running to scan for Kryptonian DNA as well as Kryptonite signatures, I promise we will find her. If CADMUS has her they are likely to send a promo soon that we could track," she explained.

"If Lillian has her then she's definitely going to know what a Danvers looks like when they're angry," Morgan said being overprotective.

Kara gave a long sigh. "I was actually coming her to ask you to do that, but I got sidetracked and went completely of course. I did ask Barry to talk to Cisco about the matter as well... There is one thing though, if they sent a promo, Bella would most likely be getting hurt."

Alex pinched the bridge of her nose deep in frustration and thought. "Then we will simply have to find her before then, assuming it is Cadmus. I don't know of any other villain at the moment that would want her anyway, the city has been devoid of crime lately."

"When we find her, I'm kicking Lillian's butt or whoever took my cousin. I have a date with Cisco later tonight so he will be gone during then," Morgan said before walking out of the briefing room.

Kara turned to Alex with the uttermost worry storming in her eyes. "I can't let her be harmed, she's my child and my responsibility. I can't lose her Alex."

Alex pulled Kara into a tight hug and patted her back softly, "Don't worry, I will get every satellite running to find her." She pulled away from the embrace and went to the server room.

Barry skidded across the floor as he made his way into the blank walls of STAR Labs. He hastily jogged through each area of the building calling out, "Cisco!" Every foot that he moved. Eventually, Barry had the right mind to check his best friend's workshop for the man himself.

He entered the room quietly and did his best to calm down as he appeared behind the long haired man. Cisco almost jumped as he turned around holding his half-eaten Twizzler. "Man, What are you doing? Sneaking up on me like that?"

Barry's eyes moved to stare at the ground no matter how hard he tried to keep them up. "I lost Bella." Those three words had a major impact on him as his eyes began to water making the ground appear blurry.

"What do you mean you lost her?" Cisco asked with peaked interest.

"I mean that Bella was supposed to come here to talk with me and I should've gone to Lili's and picked her up. I told you this before and it turns out that she's gone. I scanned the city everywhere and it's all my fault, Kara's going to hate me," Barry ranted similarly to Kara.

"Barry, was it your fault that she left Luna's and didn't come here? No. Where you leaving her alone to give her space? Yes. None of this is your fault and you were only doing your best to help. Listen, I will get the satellites up and running, and have them scan for unusual activity in warehouses," the smaller brunette said as he made his way into the main room. His fingers rapidly typed across the keyboard of a computer.

"Thank you so much Cisco! I have no idea how to repay you." The speedster had a little of the concern in his eyes dissipate.

"What are friends for?" Cisco shrugged and pulled his hands away as soon as the computer showed the search. "Anyway, I have to get going but I will tell you as soon as the satellite picks up anything." He left to go for his date with Morgan.

To be continued...

I am so sorry that I never posted until now! I've been so busy and school has just started up but I promise I'm not abandoning this book!

I had this entire chapter finished but I accidentally deleted two thirds and had to rewrite them. In the process, I ended up writing more than I had before.

Hope you enjoyed!
