The next morning Marinette woke up and went to school. "Wow I can't believe there hasn't been another akumatization." She said while walking to school. "That means you won't be late Marinette!" Tikki happily said. "Yep!" Marinette replied. She calmly walked to school without having to rush.
"Hey girl!" Alya waved. "Hey Als!" Marinette waved back. "What a surprise you're on time today. So is Adrien...Is something going on with you two?" Alya giggled "Of Course not Alya!! I decided that today I'm gonna wake up early!" Marinette lied.
"Only today..." Alya croaked.
"It depends Als, now we should head inside before we're ACTUALLY late." Marinette giggled. They walked over to where Nino and Adrien were talking. "Hey Nino and mister acting very suspicious lately." Alya teased. "Hey dudette." Nino said back. "Hey Alya! Quick question, how have I been 'acting suspicious lately?'." Adrien giggled. "Adrien you should consider dying your hair brown and getting your eyes checked out. I thought you were rich you can't even buy yourself a pair of glasses" Alya mumbled the last part. "ALYA!" Marinette shrieked. "Hehe, I think I look better blonde. What do you think Mari?" Adrien asked. Marinette froze in shock after hearing what Adrien had just called her. "Oooooo!!" Alya and Nino cooed. "U-uh um y-yo-you um I- ah..." Marinette was stuttering. "Are you ok?" Adrien asked. "She is lovesi- I mean.. FLATTERED!" Alya corrected. MArinette shot her death glares and Alya mouthed "Sorry". She also mentally scolded herself for almost revealing her best friend's secret. "Uhm ok..shall we go the bell will ring any minute." Adrien smiled. They all nodded then they walked into class together.

Alya exclaimed loud enough for Chloe to over hear. "I already told you it's nothing. I promise! I can barely talk to him without stammering, how could there be ANYTHING more?" Marinette said, crossing her fingers. "Hmph true I guess.." Alya replied and her smile faded. Nino and Adrien were walking over. "Hey dudettes!" Nino said and sat next to Alya. "Hey Nino." the girls replied. "Hey Mari, mind if I sit next to you." Adrien smiled. Marinette opened her mouth to speak but Chloe interrupted her.

"ADRIKINS! Why are you talking to the wannabe News Reporter, wannabe DJ and this ugly WHORE? You're MY Adrikins. You need to sit with ME and not these NOBODIES." Chloe argued.
Adrien gasped and looked at Marinette who was frozen and had a few tears on her face. Adrien quickly wiped them away and looked at Chloe.
"Chloe, I hate to burst your little bubble but I do NOT appreciate you calling my friends NOBODIES. I'd like you to go away because I don't want to be seen fighting with you. AND IF I HEAR YOU CALLING MARINETTE THAT ONE MORE TIME I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD YOU UGLYASS ROACH I WILL- nevermind the rest of that" Adrien snapped back.
He slapped his hand over his mouth regretting what he had said to her.
¨And here we were thinking you were innocent...¨ Alya and Nino whispered
Mari's eyes were watering, tears threatening to spill. She wanted to let them out, she'd held them in too long but she could not appear weak in front of Adrien so she tried calming down and failed miserably.
Nino and Alya looked at eachother with the look on their faces while marinette just watched him stand up for her with teary eyes. "AGRESTE! YOU WILL REGRET YOUR HURTFUL REMARKS. I WILL MAKE MY MOMMY FIRE YOUR DADDYKINS AND YOU WILL BE A NOBODY JUST LIKE THE THREE OF THEM!!!" Chloe was crying now and the whole cafeteria was staring at them, half of them recording the fight.
"I'd rather be a so-called 'nobody' rather than your friend. And ill never regret that but you sure will!" Adrien hissed.
Chloe had started weeping by now.
He turned his head to Marinette, whose face was as red as tomato boy's hair and had a stray tear on her face
"Mari..are you ok? Im so so sorry i dont know what to do to this bitch" he asked, taking his thumb and wiping the stray tear that had managed to roll down her cheek.
She nodded her head.
He pulled her into a hug and she stiffened, but then eased into the hug. He played with her hair that was let down and she rested her head on his shoulder.
She could not keep it in anymore, she cried all over Adrien shirt and let her dark, mascara filled tears fall.
¨Shh, shh its ok. We cant let this brat get to you!" Adrien whispered before pulling away. She giggled.
¨Uh dude you have mascara all over on your shoulder."Nino told Adrien, pointed to his shoulder.
Alya burst out laughing while Chloe stood there watching all of this go down.
She thought this was pure BULLSHIT.
¨OHMYGODIMSOSORRY! ILL GET YOU WIPED IM SO SORRY ARGH STUPID TEARS!!!!!!!!!!!! IM SO DUMB UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!¨She rambled.
¨No no! Its totally fine and dont call yourself that you're awesome!¨ Adrien responded with a cute grin.
"Thanks!" Marinette whispered back.
"RIDICULOUS! Sabrina hold my bag I'm gonna call DADDY!" Chloe cried, handing Sabrina her purse. Sabrina sighed.
A few minutes later, Chloe's pink limo arrived and Chloe went back home. "BYE LOSERS!" She said-tears still streaming down her face.
¨Say that to yourself dumb bitch.¨ Marinette said and slapped her hand over her mouth realizing she just said that out LOUD. ¨Oh chill-΅ABSHDBAHSBHDBAHBHBAHSBHBAHBSHBASHBHABS¨ The three replied laughing. Mari giggled too. And for once Adrien felt like he was home with family. (Yea Marinette being your wife duh-)
