"ANOA." Mommy called.
"Are you ready?" She asked.
Kinakabahan ako na tumango.
"I guess so? How do i look?" I asked her. Umikot ako para makita niya ng maayos ang suot ko.
"Fantastic." She smiled and suddenly her tears starting to pour.
"Mom?" I confusedly asked.
"It's just that.. dalaga ka na." Umiyak ulit siya.
"Mom, you're over reacting. I'm 20." Sabi ko sakanya at niyakap siya.
"Oo nga, pero parang kahapon lang karga karga lang kita." Iyak niya.
I sighed heavily.
This is the first time that I'm going out and it's a party.
Since I was born my family didn't let me to go out, they said that outside is full of evil and misery.
Sobrang iniingatan nila ako at hindi ko alam kong bakit.
I'm home schooled and my father is my teacher, he's a professor.
It was fine for me though, staying inside the house is never a big deal to me.
I could read fantasy books all day.
I'm quite nervous and scared at the same time. My family has no choice but to take me to a party.
They said that it's important for us witches and wolves.
And I don't understand because we're rogues.. are we suppose to go there? We don't have a pack.
My mother is a witch and my father is a rogue, mother supported my father so he couldn't get caught.
I have sister and brother who happened to be a wolf. We didn't inherit mother's witch. And I think it's not good.
It's way better to be a witch than a rogues.
"Anoa." My sister called me.
It pronounced as 'anowa'
"Ate." I called her.
Lumapit siya saakin with worries in her eyes.
"I don't want you to come with us." She gently said.
"What? But why?" Takang tanong ko.
Umiling lang siya at niyakap ako.
"Kahit anong mangyare, wag kang lalayo saamin." Bilin niya.
Tumango naman ako habang naguguluhan.
Hindi na ako nagtanong dahil wala rin naman silang isasagot saakin.
"Setta." My kuya called me. Nag angat ako ng tingin sakanya at kumalas sa yakap ni ate.
"Kuya." I said.
"You will stay behind us, okay?" Bilin niya rin.
"O-okay?" Patanong na sabi ko sabay tingin sakanilang dalawa.
Nagkatinginan silang dalawa.
"Ahm.. what's going on?" Takang tanong ko.
My brother kissed me on my temple.
Ngumiti sila saakin at lumabas na sa kwarto.
Kumunot ang noo ko sa inasta nila.
"Anoa!"
"I'm coming!" Sigaw ko at bumaba na. I'm rushing to go down, i almost got tripped on my way to the stairs.
Pagbaba ko ay napatingin ako sa mga magulang kong nakatingin saakin.
