"Bye Aggy," my dad kissed my forehead yet again. "Have a good day, okay?"
As Reagan and Agnes walked off, Devin initiated an argument.
"Are you serious? You're just going to let her-"
"Devin let's not," he yelled. "You think I care that they are gone? They did us dirty, growing up and as adults. They can finally, we can finally find peace in our lives."
"I found peace a long time ago," she scoffed. "But I cannot believe this isn't effecting you."
"No it is, Devin. It is." He looked at his feet, thinking about his response. "Ya know I'm not sad that they are gone. I'm sad that I didn't get to tell them how much pain they've caused us. Or well me, apparently you were already at peace with it," he shook his head. "They went on begging for forgiveness, not even seeing the ignorance in their own actions."
"Wow, she has you brainwashed doesn't she? Teaching you that holding onto the past is way more important than getting over it for a better future?"
"Bullshit Devin. I'm over having this conversation too. If you want to mourn go ahead, leave me out of it." He walked away from her, despite the yelling she'd been doing.
He walked back up to his bedroom, awaiting Reagan.
When Reagan came back she plopped onto the bed, aggressively moaning in tired.
"You sleepy already?" Stephan laughed.
"Yeah," she sighed. "I'm worried about Ags."
"I am too," he said quietly.
"Why are you worried?" She sat up properly.
"She was being extremely protective over her laptop yesterday," he told her. "Even when you left she held it closely to her. I could always tell when she isn't being honest."
"Yeah," she agreed. "You think she was doing something she wasn't supposed to?"
"Like?"
"Like...I don't know...porn?"
Stephen gasped. "You think? I mean, she's so young."
"I started watching porn when I was her age. Plus why else would she be so secretive," she said, sounding a little worried.
Stephen exhaled. "I hope she isn't...you know."
"She doesn't go anywhere," Reagan shrugged. "How could she be?"
"Look, I don't want to discuss it anymore. We can talk to her later about it."
"Yeah but can we see if she wants to party first," she asked hesitantly. "Let's let her have fun and then we scold her. Yeah?"
Stephen rolled his eyes. "Fine," he sighed. "Til then, what do you want to do?"
"Sleep." She slammed her head on the pillow.
Stephen rested his hands on her shoulder. He began kissing Reagan up and down her neck and all up on her ear. "You sure," he seductively whispered.
"I'm sure," she seductively whispered back.
Stephen sighed. "Can we atleast talk a little more?"
"About?"
"About...having another child."
She hit Stephen, hard, it was almost like a reflex.
"Ow."
"Say that shit again and I'll give you a vasectomy."
"You don't want to have another child with me?"
"No. Shut up," she spat.
"But I have two with my ex-wife."
"Their twins."
"Still two of 'em."
"Bailey I'm not having this conversation with you. The answer is no and it will always be no."
He sighed. "Okay fine. I'm getting old anyways."
"Yeah, exactly."

The morning after the party, Stephen and Reagan went to have a conversation with Agnes.
"I hope you had fun last night," Stephen said as he sat at the end of her bed.
She shrugged. She didn't have as much fun as she'd hope she did. Infact the party was an absolute shit show for her emotions.
"But we need to talk about something important," Reagan sat on the other side of the end of her bed. Both ignoring her saddened mood.
"Yeah, what happened?" She sat up.
They looked at each other then back at Agnes. Stephen let out a heavy breath.
"The other night when we came to talk to you, or well technically your mother came to yell at you but," he shook his head. "You were being very clingy with your laptop and we wanted to know why."
"We think your watching porn," Reagan blurted out.
"Nice one," Stephen mouthed to her.
Agnes heart dropped. She needed to play it cool. "I um, I don't know to say."
"We just want to know if it's true not. Because if it is-"
"No," Agnes shook her head. "I was being so secretive because I was talking to...a boy," she lied. "I know you're very on the edge about it so I wanted to keep it a secret," she shrugged. "Are you mad?"
Stephen and Reagan looked at each other. To them, it made sense.
"Was he at the party last night?" Reagan asked excitedly.
"Yeah but," she shrugged. "It didn't work out. I wasn't his type."
"I'm sorry," she apologized.
"He's stupid," Stephan added.
Agnes gave them a very small smile. "Yeah," she said dryly.
While Agnes told them she was talking to a boy, it isn't the case as we found out. Some of her story had been true.
