"Oh my God."

"Here you go," she sighed. "Irritated, as always."

"I'm fucking graduating tomorrow. And yeah I'm Irritated all the time. My girlfriend kissed another girl and she expects me to just fall back into her arms as if nothing happened."

"How many times do I have to-"

"It's not apologies, Ava! It's the principal of it!"

"But you still love me. You got back with me," Ava stood to try and grab Agnes's hand but she pulled away.

"Don't even know why," Ags sighed. "Now are you going to help me find my gown or are you just going to sit and smoke again?"

Ava sighed. "You check the laundry room?" She asked dryly.

Agnes sighed again, rolling her eyes. "Why the hell would it be there?" She angrily whispered to herself. She stomped out the room and to the laundry room.

"Everything okay? She looked heated." Stephan popped his head through the bedroom door.

"Yeah," Ava said with hesitation.

Neither families had known about the cheating situation. Agnes wish she hadn't known...

Agnes

As I walk to the laundry room, I felt my eyes getting heavy. I knew why. I was starting to cry again. Fuck.

I can't figure out why I got back with Ava and I guess it's because yes, I love her. But if she loved me she wouldn't have kissed another girl. And in all honesty I guess part of me feels like it was more than just kisses.

Late nights, the drinking and smoking.

I feel like a complete idiot.

Then she always gets upset when  I feel uncomfortable with her talking with another girl.

Ugh, yeah.

I'm stupid.

I slid down the wall, lacking any energy to look for my gown. I'm hiding so hopefully if someone comes in they don't-

"Having a hard time lesbo?"

I looked up to see Scarlett looking down at me. She feels because I'm eighteen now she can speak to me however.

I sighed. "Just leave me alone."

"Just asking," she shrugged.

She put some clothes in the washing machine and left the room.

Why's her old ass still even here?

I hadn't noticed how long I was sitting there til Ava came down looking for me.

"Ags? Ags?" I saw her looking around the room. Finally she found me. "You okay? What happened?" She furrowed her brows.

I stood up. When we first met, she was way taller than me but now I can officially say we see eye to eye. Yeah, I'm pretty tall.

"Nothing. I just lost track of time," I walked passed her.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"For what?" I started looking in washers and dryers to avoid making eye contact. "So you can just keep apologizing and telling me about the mistakes you've made?" I shrugged. "It's nothing new." I found it. I found my gown. The second I did I walked out the room.

"Ags, wait!" She chased after me. "We need to work this out."

I rolled my eyes. "You know what Ava," I shook my head. I wanted to cry again but my head hurts and I hate when she see's me crying. "I don't know why I put myself through this. I love you but I can't," my voice started to crack. "I-I just don't want to do this anymore."

"You breaking up with me?" She furrowed her brows.

I shrugged, walking away.

I heard a knock on my door. "Agnes?" It was my mom.

"Hey," I said dryly.

"You didn't come for dinner. You okay? Where's Ava?"

I sighed. "She left."

"Is everything...is everything oka-"

"She cheated on me," I blurted out. "It wasn't too long ago and I tried to get past it but," I shrugged. "Not that easy."

"Well why would you get back with that bitch anyways," my mother crossed her arms over her chest and furrowed her brows.

"Cause love," I shrugged once more. "I guess."

My mother scoffed. She climbed in the bed, sitting next to me. "Well if she loved you she wouldn't have hurted you now would she?"

"I meant it like I love her," I sighed.

"I know what you meant but I'm asking you that question. When someone betrays you, you don't run back to them. Especially when you love them," she hit my shoulder. "Just gives them the pass to do it again."

"So I shouldn't get back together with her?" I asked dryly. My throat is very dry.

"Look I can't tell you who to, and to not love or be in a relationship with. But it isn't worth being in pain whenever you're around them."

I furrowed my brows. She was making sense. I was in pain everytime I was with Ava.

"Thanks mom," I gave her a very small smile.

"You're welcome," she kissed my forehead. "If you need a rebound though, I gotchu," she winked.

I looked at her in disbelief before I started laughing my ass off.
