You can't work. You have to settle stuff by yourself. You have to only work with men or women. You have to do this do that..."
Love is a superficial thing that only those under its spell can feel it.
I get the idea that love has to be unconditional based on my friend's story. Her boyfriend said that she can have him but with a list of terms. One of them is she can call him but not texting. It gets weird when he asked the girl to start the conversation all the time. I know that every relationship is unique but that is not love.
Love should have no limit. Love should make your wings get stronger to fly higher. Your wings are not supposed to be clipped because your partner is an insecure person. As simple as a man who is scared of dating a successful woman especially with a Ph.D., or men that stop their partners to chase their dreams. This applies to both genders.
Love has to be unconditionally reciprocal. One has to take and one has to give. It never has to be one-sided when one is crying for attention or love while one neglects the essential needs of a relationship. I am sure we all at least once will experience the most heartbreaking and horrendous moment of dating someone who takes us slightly. It hurts, badly. The idea of only one side works hard for the relationship to sustain is unhealthy...or can it be considered as a relationship in the first place when only you carry the burden and run errands?
Love should be unconditional and accepting. Accept that your partner is also a human being. A human is vulnerable though the act tough. Accept that your partner will not be good in everything or will fulfill all your demanding expectations. Accept that your partner is still discovering and experimenting with their potential.
