Pain is temporary, pleasure is a poison

From the title, it has encapsulated all my points. But let me expland it.
It's my choice to read books and abandon my homework.
And it is my friend's choice when she—
"Hey, did you watch this drama? Damn good"
"I'll watch it after the final exam"
I mean yea, I know that the final exam is just about 3 weeks later but hey, where's the fun? The pleasure?

Pleasure and pain are temporary. Nothing is perpetuate; nothing stays the same. So, unlike me, she knows that the series is not going to be removed from netflix, even for after  30 years , hence she's not in rush to watch it. She knows what's her focus. Unlike me, of course I choose the pleasure of giddiness when the lead couple does romantic scene since you know-I'm a pathetic romanticisit

Vegetables are not pleasureable either just likewise weekly tutorials. They are sick green. More like eating a tree. It is not pleasurable but it benefits your body more than a RM25 overpriced Starbuck. You get what I mean right?

It does not mean I promotor sadism and aggresively encourage you to become a masochist. That's petty. You can be happy, you can feel the pleasure, you deserve it honey but after a hardwork.
Pleasure is merely a by product. The main essence is hard work, though it sounds exactly like that tasteless leaf!
