I'd Love You Better

Docm77, or just Doc, was an easily irritated person. He just couldn't maintain his emotions in a way that wasn't lashing out on some things, sometimes himself, or even other hermits. He was never actually angry though, it was just the way he looked. But regardless most hermits tended to avoid conversation with him, trying to avoid any possible conflict with the seemingly angry hybrid.

Bdubs and Keralis had been friends from the very start. Even after Bdubs' late beginning back in season six, he still managed to grow closer to the wide-eyed hermit. Even with as much time as they'd spent together, especially now with the big eyes group they had now, including the two of them and Tango, Bdubs was still painfully oblivious to the very obvious emotions Keralis has grown towards his beloved Bubbles.

It was obvious to almost everyone that knew him that Keralis had developed romantic feelings for Bdubs. Painfully obvious. The black-eyed hermit couldn't keep his eyes off Bdubs, even while working. Yet Bdubs was seemingly blind to this.

Bdubs knew. He doesn't know if anyone knew that he had figured it out but at some point it clicked for him. This created a problem for him, however. BDoubleO was absolutely awe-struck by a certain other hermit by the name of Doc. A hermit who seems to have no other facial expressions other than concentrated and angry.

So why would he have fallen for such an ill-spoken hermit when someone he knew was madly in love with him was nearly almost right by his side?

Well in season 7 of hermitcraft they lived quite close. Close enough for Bdubs to get to meet some of Doc's positive sides. He also had learned the same way that Doc was painfully honest, but that was exactly what he needed right now. So Bdubs got up from his messily made bed, put his signature red bandana on and left to find the creeper hybrid he so desperately wished to speak to.

"Hey- hey, Doc." Bdubs chirped. Almost too quietly.

"Bdubs? What are you doing here? It's long past midnight." Doc said, seemingly startled by the sudden appearance of his shockingly shorter friend.

"I just wanted to see you, I guess."

"You guess? Bdubs, I've got things to do and I would really appreciate it if you would just leave-"

"Just for a minute?" Bdubs cut him off mid sentence.

Doc didn't realize it but he had been flustered by the pleading-like tone in Bdubs voice. It concerned him, of course, but it made him feel trusted. If something were to be wrong with Bdubs, he was glad that his friend had chosen to come to him about it. Especially since everyone seems to think he's too caught up in his work to care about anyone.

"Are you okay?" Doc asked in a slightly more worried tone. Bdubs noticed the concern in the taller males voice and quickly spoke up in an attempt to relieve him.

"Oh! No, I'm fine! I was just wondering if I could talk to you about something? I could really use some advice from a scientist right now."

Bdubs' referring to him as a 'scientist' made him chuckle a little, causing Bdubs to flash a slight shade of pink. It was calming. Bdubs hadn't been used to seeing very many positive sides to Doc this season, but he was in no way complaining. His smile fit him, he's always taken a liking to it. Doc set down the materials he was using for his work-in-progress redstone contraption and put his hands in his pocket. He looked- chill.

"Hot." Bdubs thought to himself, causing his face to flush a much darker red color. He very rarely got to see Doc in his relaxed state.

"Well I'm not exactly a scientist, nor a therapist. But I'll be glad to do my best for a friend. I could use a moment away from my work anyways." He said, still grinning a bit.
