Chapter 9 : Distance

Next day virat woke up early and went to her room to check her as he saw her cute sleeping posture he sighed to himself by resting his head back to the wall , he thought how could someone be so beautiful ? and lost in his thoughts , he was staring at her for almost thirty minutes now and as she stired a little he looked away .

She rubbed her eyes and as soon as she came to know virat is in her room , she shouted sweetly making him startled.

"What ?" He asked

"What are you doing in my room ?" She asked

"I was just passing-" he could further explain she cutt him off

"Yeah now you will lie openly , good"

"Hey listen I don't want to be around you okay .." virat smirked

"Oh....Thanks now get the hell out of my room" she replied by covering herself with blanket

Virat stepped towards the bed and asked by sitting next to her

"Do you have fever" he checked her forehead

"Ofcourse not ." She shrugged his hands away

"stop showing your fake care all the time" Sai rolled her eyes

Virat chuckled smartly and caged her in both of his arms , she looked away .

"I don't need to fake my care if I want to get anything from you"

he whispered near her ear making her feel shivers coming all over her body she held her breath and dared to look at his mischievous grin .

"Imagine being not able to stand straight" her cold reply made him chuckled

SHE'S JUST LIKE ME ! he thought and distanced himself from her

"Get ready for office" he said and walked out

Sai breathed heavily after he moved out , he was so close to her and she could guess how strong her reply was to kick him out of her room .

"Why is he so annoying ?" She said to herself and got up to get ready for office

She wore a kind of professional attire that made her look gorgeous and she adored herself in the mirror when her sight fell on the back where he was standing with her hands across his chest and head tilted at the left side simply glaring at her .

"What ?" Sai asked

"You're looking....good" he replied with his signature smirk

"I asked what are you doing here ?" She replied by tieing her hairs

"I'm here to see you ." He replied by coming close to her

She felt a strange feeling stroke her abdomen when he touched her face with his palms , why was he so intense ? She thought and looked at his face which was trying to confess alot of emotions

"I don't want you to be late on the first day of your office ." He said holding her face in his palms

She noded her head innocently and replied she is ready to head

"Good." He left her so she took a breath of relief and followed him by grabbing her essentials

When they reached at the office everyone stared at them with a normal expression of whenever they see a new face comes to visit their company they were looking at sai as she was seeming to be a new employee ,virat gestured jeet what he'd to do and he shook his head in response , virat smiled at him and looks at sai so does she glares at him .

"Meet my personal secretary naina sachdev"

He introduces her fake identity to everyone just to make it easy for her to stay there without any trouble as she was a daughter of their ex contractor kamal joshi the man who betrayed their professionalism and was abused for it by many media and people in business virat didn't want her to be a part of any of this , his moto of keeping her his personal secretary was to keep her always near to himself .
