Amaterasu Akiko P.O.V.
I go to school, do my homework and participate willingly because of everything Ichiro and grandfather have done for me. But I really, really don't like the people going to this school. They always think they're better than everyone else. The school cooperated with a public school for an exchange program, to see the difference between the two schools. So me and two classmates go to this public school for a week. Though as I walk through the halls in my private school uniform, the only thing I can think of is that for now I see not much difference. People go here in school uniforms, we get slippers at the door and people attend class. "Can't believe we have to be here for a week" the guy classmate says. "I know right" the girl says. "You both volunteered" I scoff. "This is the class" I say stepping between them. I knock softly and hear the teacher say something about the exchange program. "You can come in" he says. I walk in with my classmates behind me. Curiously I look around as I walk toward the teacher and freeze when I see Draken, leaning his cheek on his hand bored. "Kiko!" He surprised. "Niisan.." I say surprised as well. Immediately Mikey's head appears out of nowhere. Apparently he was seated on the row beside him. "Kikochin!" He says happily. Immediately the whole class starts to whisper. "Settle down now. Let's give these students the chance to introduce themselves. "I'm Amaterasu Akiko, thank you for having us" I say, bowing to the class. "Kikochin!" Mikey says happily again. "Yes we heard you the first time Manjiro" the teacher says. After my classmates introduced themselves, Mikey and Draken both point to the empty seat in front of Draken. "Why don't you sit down in front of Ken. Though I'm sure I'll regret this" the teacher says as he places his hand on my shoulder. "I didn't know you would participate in this" Draken hisses as I sit down. "I didn't know your school would too" I say. "I didn't know either" Draken says dryly. "I didn't know you knew people here" my male classmate says as he sits down in front of me. "I didn't know either." I say. "Are they friends of yours?" He asks and I can see the contempt in his eyes. "Yeah. My brother and my boyfriend" I say. He immediately regrets his question. "Settle down now" the teacher says.
As soon as the lunch break started, Mikey flew over to me. I feel his cheek on top of my head as his arms are wrapped tightly around my shoulders. I chuckle softly as I feel him rubbing his cheek against my head and lean my shoulders against him. "I don't think I ever saw him this happy at school" Draken says grinning. "Or awake this long for that matter" he adds as he tries to poke Mikey's face with his pencil. "Are you coming to the cafeteria with us, Amaterasu-san?" The female classmates joins the male. "I brought my own lunch" I say, pointing at my bento on the table. They awkwardly walk out of the classroom. "They really respect you huh? Amaterasu-san?" Draken asks teasingly. "Oh shut up" I chuckle. "They don't have a choice" I add. "Ryuguji-kun" a pretty female classmate sits down at the table next to mine. "Arent you going to introduce us to your...sister?" She asks. "Step sister" Draken says. "I don't see why I should but sure. Yui, this is my step sister Akiko, Akiko this is Yui" he says dryly. "Nice to meet you" I smile. "Likewise" she says. There's something about her smile. "I hope you at least will enjoy your time here, I don't think the same can be said for your classmates" she says, glancing at the door. "I think I will. Please don't mind them, they've been in private schools and privileged cultures their whole lives. I haven't" I say. "Class prez..." Mikey says. Yui chuckles. "Yes, I'll let you have time with your girlfriend. I'm the class president Akiko, if you need anything this week, let me know." She says standing up. "Will do" I says and. She walks away. "She's really tiring" Draken says, leaning his cheek on his hand. "She is" I say, leaning against Mikey again. Mikey presses a kiss on my head and as he leans his against mine, Draken starts to annoy him with his pencil again. Mikey slaps his hand away but this just amuses Draken even more. As Draken directs his pencil toward me, I grab it. "Don't even try" I say grinning. "What are you going to do about it" he says with the same grin on his face. "Hm. Maybe we should join hands and grab him together Kikochin" Mikey says, pressing another kiss on my head. "That's not fair!" Draken says.
I chuckle wrapping my arms around his waist as he wraps his arms around my shoulders, hugging me. "I think I'll enjoy going to school now" Mikey says as I snuggle against him. "Will you now?" I ask amused. "At least for this week" Mikey says pressing a kiss on my cheek. "I think I will too" I say, and giggle as he presses a longer kiss on my cheek. "Do you really have to go?" Mikey asks. Souta clears his throat. "She does. Akiko-sama has calligraphy lessons, also tea with her grandfather and after dinner training with her father. She's very busy today" Souta says. I glance at Souta and see, and know that he doesn't like Mikey, not after everything he has done. Mikey sighs deeply. "Alright." He says. Mikey kisses me softly, and as our lips part I pull him back and he kisses me long. "I'll see you tomorrow" Mikey says. "Yeah" I say softly as he lets go. "See you tomorrow shorty" Draken says, pushing my head down and chuckling I wave them goodbye before turning toward Souta. "You don't like him" I say. "It doesn't matter what I think" he says as he opens the backseat car door for me. "Tell me honestly Souta-kun" I say as I walk up to the car. Souta sighs deeply. "I care very much about you, Akiko-sama. Not just because I'm your retainer, but also because I consider Ichiro-sama a close friend as I've known him since I was a teenager. That kid hurt you, badly. He broke your heart. Of course I don't like him" Souta says, and I can't help but smile slightly. "But like I said, it doesn't matter what I think" he says. "Now please get in, like I said before you have a busy schedule today" Souta says. I step inside and wait until he's behind the steering wheel. "Thank you, Souta-kun" I say softly. Souta doesn't respond as he drives away. "I care about you too, very much" I say softly. I see a slight smile appear on Souta's lips. "Thank you, Akiko-sama" he says softly. "Will you have tea with me sometime?" I ask. Souta chuckles. "Sure" he says. "You have to make it though. You make the best tea" I say. "What if I said that the kitchenmaid makes it?" Souta says. This time I chuckle. "I don't believe you" I say. "Well I'm glad" Souta says.
