Chapter 42

Amaterasu Akiko P.O.V.

I'm being awakened by the buzzing of a phone. I'm in a soft bed, with my head on a soft pillow but I don't know where I am. I turn my head to see someone sleeping next to me, his back is turned toward me but his hair is in pigtail braids. I can only see his back but it's bare. Soon I realize that I'm naked. I push myself a little up and look around. How high was I? Where am I? I grab my phone from the bedside table. Otosama must be worried. I see that I texted Ichiro that I'd be staying the night at a friends, and he texted back that it was alright and that I should call Souta when I wanted to come home. I look around again. But this is obviously a motel instead of a friends house.. I look down at the guy again. Who are you? How long was I asleep for? I look at my phone again and see that it's the middle of the night. I'll call Souta in the morning. I put my phone back and lay back down, turning my back toward the guy. Suddenly I feel his arm around me, his hand on his stomach and his body against my back. He's naked! I feel my eyes getting heavy again. I don't know what happened, but if this is causing me to finally get some sleep, I'm fine with it. I hear again the buzzing sound, but it's not my phone. "Fuck" the guy mumbles, I feel him move, see the light as he checks his phone and hear him answer the text before he drops down again. I feel his fingertips gliding down my spine. "That was hot" he mumbles. He curses when his phone buzzes again, so I turn on my back, and open my eyes to look at him. He glances at me as he texts back. "I'm sorry, did I wake you?" He asks with a slight smile on his lips. "Perhaps" I say. He's older than me, not much, couple of years maybe but he has a beautiful tattoo. He throws his phone on the bedside table and rolls himself on top of me. "Allow me to apologize properly" he says, stroking my cheek before pressing his lips against mine. I can guess what happened.. but if it allows me to sleep.. I place my hands on his face as I kiss back.

It's been a while since I've slept this good, and because of that I feel really good too. Even though I woke up in the middle of the night, the guy that was next to me fucked me really good, so I fell asleep again immediately after. I don't know that it felt that good because he is older, or because he is more experienced, or that I just really wanted to sleep. But I feel like I don't even need the drugs today. "Let me pay you back for the room" I say, as we walk out of the motel. "There's no need" he says with a slight grin as I look up to him. "I'd like to" I say. "Keep your money. I was the one suggesting it anyway." He says. I cross my arms annoyed and the guy chuckles. He puts his hand on top of my head and shoves me slightly. "Pay next time if you're that bothered by it" he says "hmm if there is one" I say. "Assuming there is" he says winking. "I have to go" he says pulling his hand back. "See you around" he says with a sly grin as he walks back before he turns around and leaves. I don't even know your name.. I watch him walk away for a bit before I turn around to leave myself. "What the" I cuss as I'm suddenly being pulled in an alley. "What the fuck?" I ask when I see both Takemichi and Chifuyu in front of me. "What were you doing there with Haitani Ran?" Takemichi asks. "Who?" I ask. "Haitani Ran of the Haitani brothers. The guy you left the motel with" Chifuyu says. "So you guys are watching me now?" I ask. "We were walking by when we saw you.." Takemichi says.  "You know who they are, don't you?" Chifuyu asks. "No, nor do I care. I also don't see what's it got to do with you" I say. "Technically nothing.." Takemichi says. "But shouldn't you care who you get involved with?" He asks. "Involved with?" I ask and then laugh. "I'm not involved with anyone, nor am I planning to. I had a one night stand because I was high" I say, looking at the two boys amused. "And maybe I'll have sex with him in the future sometimes, I don't know. What I do know is that I finally had a good night sleep for the first time since Baji-kun died, so if it's all the same to you, I'm going to get to work" I say.

I lean against the door of our tattoo shop. I had a long day, and have done a big ass tattoo so I'm pretty tired. Souta is on his way to pick me up, I just closed up and am just waiting now. "Kiko" I loop up to see Draken accompanied by Mikey on my right. I know that I'm on gang neutral ground. At least, delinquent gangs can't claim this turf. Probably because Ichiro's main business is located here. "Hey" I say. "You seem tired" Draken says. "I am. Done a big tattoo today" I say. I turn my head left when I hear a loud ass whistle. It's the motel guy, that Chifuyu and Takemichi called Haitani Ran walks over, and some guy walks with him. Draken clicks his tongue annoyed. There's obvious tension between the two guys on my left and the two guys on my right. "What do you want?" Draken asks. "We're not here for Toman" Ran says with a playful grin. He turns towards me instead. "Found this in my pocket. It must be yours" he says, pulling a necklace out of his pocket and I gasp when I see the Amaterasu pendant. "I thought I'd lost it!" I say, grabbing the necklace and keeping it in my palm. "Seems like the lock broke last night." He says, and again that playful grin. "Thank you so much for bringing it back" I say, smiling brightly at him. "You're welcome, Kawaiikou" he says as he walks through Mikey and Draken, the guy he's with follows him. "See you around!" He shouts. Both Mikey and Draken look at me. "What were you doing with Haitani Ran last night?" Draken asks sharply. "I'm not sure" I say shrugging. "What do you mean you're not sure?" Mikey asks as he raises his eyebrows. "Like I said, I'm not sure. I was very high last night" I say. Both Draken and Mikey seem stunned. Mikey only seems shocked but Draken is also about to burst. "Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?!" He says angrily. "Where is it?! Where's the drugs now?" He asks as he starts patting my pockets. "It's gone, I'm out" I say, pushing Draken from me. "And I figured so I'm not going to buy any more" I say. Draken grabs the front of my shirt and pulls me toward him. "I'll kill you if you do" he growls, and I'm a little surprised how serious he is.
