Chapter 22- They know how to talk

"We can take you home if you'd like?" Jacey says turning around in her seat to see me. I shake my head smoothing my dress out.

"No I'm fine." I say and Sawyer scoffs.

"Your face looks constipated." he says and I glare at him through the rear view mirror. Jacey hits his shoulder and looks at me worriedly.

"I'm seriously fine.... I might have to poop." I add and Jacey bursts out laughing.

"Hold it in princess." she says and I laugh. She turns back around as we pull into the Keller manor and my palms begin to sweat. All week I've been wondering what I would say when I face Vincent, and I'm still not sure.

Sawyer stops the car at the front of the house and steps out. A man opens me and Jaceys doors for us and we step out. Sawyer hands his keys to the valet.

Wow the Kellers went all out, there's maid and butlers scattered everywhere with trays of food or cleaning. There's decorations across the lawn and I haven't even seen the inside of the house.

Kilie told me her and her mother will be here. I guess Mr. Keller isn't one for planning parties so Sophia has to.

Sawyer is dressed in a nice suit not like his normal work suits. Jaceys in a dark blue sleeveless dress with a scoop neck, it flares out at the waist and has a thin brown belts at the waist.

Im wearing a short grey dress with short sleeves and a white Peter Pan collar. My hair isn't in a stylish messy bun and my make up is light thanks to Jacey.

I look over at Jacey who is walking up the steps to the Keller manor ahead of me and I take a deep breath. It's not like I have to talk to people.

We walk in the door me lagging behind and I can't help but admire the decor. It's like a scene from the great gastby, grand flower bouquets everywhere, and chandeliers installed just for this day. Wow this is the most formal family reunion I've ever been to.

The most expensive thing at my family reunion was the piñata that held 20 pounds of candy.

"Oh Spencer nice of you to join us." I hear a voice say from behind me and I wince. I turn around and see Sophia and smile.

"Hello Sophia, I just thought I would come to meet more of Vincents family." I say and she smiles nodding.

"Of course mingle please, Vincents around here somewhere." she says and I nod. She walks away and I take a breath of relief.

"Good job my mom can be a shark sometimes." Kilies says walking up next to me. I laugh and nod.

"Yes I would have to say that was the most nerve racking thing in my life." I say teasingly and she laughs.

"So looking for Vincent?" She asks smiling and I nod.

"Kind of." I say biting my lip.

"Last time I saw him he snuck off into the den." she says and I nod.
