3 years ago... A group of illegal scientists on the other side of the world (this story is placed in the US) went messing with something they shouldn't have and released a plague that ravaged across the world being air born right from the start. This plagued was soon to be known as simply "the sickness" and was able to kill people just a week after being in the body. The sickness was able to take out roughly 90% of the population, however there were the rare few who were lucky enough to have some form of immunity to the sickness, mainly people who were between the ages of 15 and 25. Anyone who managed to be lucky enough to get granted with an immunity to the sickness then struggled to survive in the harsh environment. Some just went crazy from losing nearly everyone they had ever known and went around shooting everything they saw. Others attempted to try and pull things together and made groups of people all struggling to stay alive. Others decided to stay away from everyone and try and make it on their own by looting homes, shops, cars etc. Meanwhile in the animal world, the plague effected them differently, instead of killing them off, it managed to trigger something in their brain to make them seemingly more aggressive, and now many animals escaped roam the streets desperate for something to fill their stomachs.

Main characters:

Dream, at only 22, is the leader of the most dangerous "Mafia" as he likes to call it and his mafia is known world wide. "The Dreamers" is the name they're known as, though they didn't name them that themself. It sort of just caught on and they decided to stick with it. Anyone who has at least two brain cells to rub together knows better than to cross paths with them at all costs. Well, unless your name is George that is.

George is 21 and is a "loner" as they call it. Someone who don't belong to any gang. mafia, or group of any sorts, and travels alone. He normally doesn't stay in one place for too long if at all possible, seeing as people love to try and use loners as free labor, or try to get them to join them so they can become bigger and stronger. What they can't seem to understand, is that George, like most loners, don't want or have any plans to join people in their weak attempts to have some form of authority against others.

Sapnap is Dream's right hand man, best friend, and most trusted member in Dream's mafia. Sapnap and Dream have been friends ever since they can remember and were both lucky enough to have survived the sickness and everything else out to get them. Karl (Sapnaps boyfriend) have been dating for a little over 2 years now and are both a part Dream's mafia.

Badboyhalo, also known as Bad, is someone called a "scouter" in dream's mafia, he's always looking around for new places to loot, and explore, and is also the nicest person you'll ever meet. It's odd he managed to get wound up in Dream's mafia of all places, but It does help when you're boyfriend (skeppy) has a questionable love for the chaos and violence a place in dream's mafia can give you.

Skeppy is the one that Dream calls on to do one man jobs, like taking out someone who thought it was a good idea to give Dream and/or his mafia some problems, whatever they may be. He also loves chaos, and violence and is fine by being the one to enforce it, but when around Bad, he will do anything to keep Bad's sweet soul safe and happy, though it may be difficult in the circumstances the world has given them. There's definitely going to be much more characters later on, but these are all I'm going to be explaining for now.

Information on the mafia

Though Dream's mafia is most certainly the strongest on the continent, he still has his rivals. Or rather a group of smaller mafias that have semi-merged together to create one stronger force for the the main purpose of defense from others.

They call themselves "The alliance"

They seem a lot more organized than they really are though, in reality they all have their individual areas, rules and people. If one of them were to be under attack, it would take atleast an hour for anyone to be there to help, and even then there's still not a good chance of survival for the ones being attacked.

The Dreamers know this, and they intend to put the information to good use.
