Plans for the Day

Wattpad deleted this chapter,  so this might not be the best quality writing because I'm writing this late at night just trying to finish it as soon as possible.

George POV

I woke up to the feeling of the blond running his fingers through my hair gently. I smiled and leaned into the touch.

"Good morning sleepy head." I heard from my lover, a smile evident in his voice.

"Morning..." I mumbled out, cuddling closer to Dream, using his chest as a pillow.

As friction was made between both of our bare chests, the memories from last night flooded back to me and I felt my cheeks heat up.

"What time is it?" I asked, trying to keep my mind away from my flustered thoughts.

"Almost noon, you slept in." He said casually.

"What?!" I shoot up.

"W-why didn't you wake me up you idiot, I had plans for today!" I complained half playful, half serious.

"Mhm... And those plans were?..." He asked accusingly.

"... I was going to um- watch- um- stuff." I admitted.

The blond broke into a wheeze. "Of course you were." He sputtered out.

I smiled and laid my head back on his chest.

"I was thinking we could go somewhere today, sort of as a um- date..." I heard from the blond as he resumed running his fingers through my hair.

"Oh yeah? Where?" I questioned, ignoring the hint of embarrassment hidden in his tone.

"I was thinking we could go to Niki's and then we could go to the lake, only if you want to." Dream answered.

"Don't you have to question Quackity though?" I questioned. I don't want to be taking away from Dream's work.

"I already canceled it, don't worry about that. So do you want to? If not we can just stay here for the rest of the day, up to you I guess."

I thought for a moment. It would be nice to get out again. I used to basically live outside, so I wouldn't complain about getting some fresh air.

"We could go to the lake, as long as we get to go to Niki's first and get muffins." I declared.

The blond rolled his eyes jokingly. "Okay, we can get muffins, we were already going to Niki's first anyways." He laughed.

It's a date.

IMPORTANT!

I'm really sorry to say that from now on updates may only be once or twice a month on this story.

If you've been here for very long you will have noticed that the update rate as been declining a lot. The reason being for this, I've just lost motivation to write this story and have been preoccupied with school and everything. It's not that I've lost motivation to write completely, it's really just this story in particular and overall motivationnotfound. I will try my best to get updates out twice a month or more but uh- no promises.

BUT my new story, I have hella motivation to write and there I will hopefully update once a week, hopefully I will have the first 2 chapters posted on it by the end of the month (November 2021) and if you have read the last authors note, you will know all about it and hopefully that kind of thing interests you. With that story I actually have things for the most part thought out unlike this one where I came up with the idea and sort of made it up as I went.

Sorry if you were enjoying this story a lot or whatever. Just remember that I'm NOT dicontinueing it! Updates are just gonna be a lot slower.
