George POV

After Dream dismissed the meeting we left and were now on the way to the elevator.

"Um... Dream, why are you so nervous, has this never happened before?" I asked. This question had been on my mind the whole meeting and I just now finally had the opportunity to ask it.

"Well... Yes, and no. Of course The Alliance has requested meetings before, but not like this.. Not so random and vague..." Dream trailed off trying his best to find the words to explain the situation.

"Oh. Well, it's getting late, we should probably finish up that movie then get dinner." I said changing the subject as we walked out of the elevator.

"Right! We should probably do that I guess." Dream finished as we entered his room being greeted by the same chill as always.

You'd think as a tea kettle, he'd like to be hot. But nOOooOoOOo.

Time skip 1 hour.

I and Dream sat comfortably on the sofa side by side with my head resting on his shoulder. I'm a bit disappointed that we hadn't gone back to our original positions, but it is what it is.

I glanced at the clock. 7:31.

"We should probably get dinner." I said sadly as I got up from the sofa. The end credits were now on but we still sat next to each other savoring the moment.

"Yeah." Dream said tiredly as he got up from the sofa.

We walked down the hall in silence as we made our way to get dinner.

Hopefully we're not too late and missed dinner. I thought.

We arrived at the cafeteria just as they were serving out the last of the dishes and we hastily grabbed our steak and mashed potatoes and sat down to eat them and began making conversation.

Time skip 15 minutes. (Yeah I know that last bit was kinda pointless but whatever.)

"Really? I never knew you had a sister." I said to Dream as we were walking.

"Yeah, most people don't know either. She lives by Nikkis bakery and is very good friends with Nikki. She's just not a huge fan of being in the mafia 24/7 so she just steps in every now and then when she feels like it or we really need her." Dream said.

"Huh. Well I'd love to meet her." I said smiling.

We made it to the doors to our rooms and turned to each other.

"Well, goodnight Dream." I said smiling tiredly despite the fact that it wasn't even eight yet.

"Yeah, goodnight Georgie." Dream said back as he stepped into his room.

I walked into my room and picked out some black sweatpants and a blue T-shirt, then took a quick shower then hopped in bed, ready to get some rest for tonight.

However, once I laid in bed under the covers, I just simply couldn't find a comfortable position to fall asleep in.

I huffed, and turned to lay on the other side and closed my eyes.

I continued tossing and turning back and forth for a good 30 or so minutes before finally standing up out of bed.

As the cold hard wood floors made contact with my bare feet, my breathing hitched and shivers ran up my spine.

God I can't believe I'm doing this...

But if this means I'm going to get some shut eye... So be it.

I tip toed over to my door and twisted the handle.

To my surprise, the door opened.

Didn't Dream say he would put a lock on this thing? I asked myself.

I shook it off and walked across the hall to the door opposite mine. Dreams.

I took a deep breath in, and slowly let it out.

I brought my hand up to the door shakily and paused.

If this wakes him up, he's gonna be so pissed.

Hopefully he's already awake...

But I had already made up my mind. I knocked on the door as quiet as I could as to not wake anybody else up, but loud enough that Dream would hear it.

After a few moments with no answer, I essentially decided that he was already asleep and was about to turn around when the door began to open slowly.

"George?" The blond asked in a tired, deep voice.

"What are you doing still up?" He asked.

"I-I couldn't sleep..." I said quietly while looking down at the floor, slightly ashamed of myself.

I looked up and just hoped that he would get the message sooner or later and I wouldn't have to explain to him why I was here.

He looked at me confusion before his eyes widened in realization before they softened back down again.

"C'mere Georgie, let's get some sleep." He said smiling softly and gesturing for me to come in.

I happily entered and walked straight to his bed where the blond soon joined me.

"Is there a reason you couldn't sleep Georgie?" Dream asked me as he laid down behind me since I was laying on my side.

"Just couldn't sleep." I mumbled sleepily.

Dream just hummed in response and moved closer to me, basically spooning me at this point.

No. He was spooning me. But I didn't mind as I finally found a position of comfort after the last thirty minutes.

"Alright George, just go to sleep alright?" Dream mumbled into my hair.

I hummed in response and soon after drifted into sleep.
