Siena POV

It was about 3 pm when I woke up from my much-needed nap. I sat up and realized that I was in the room by myself, so I just laid back down, staring at the ceiling again.

After everything that happened this morning, I felt some relief off my shoulders. Not a lot, but enough to feel a little more relaxed.

While looking at the ceiling I find myself getting lost in my thoughts and overthinking everything.

What if I told them too much? There are to view so differently now. Where am I going to stay? What I am doing here? Wait, my mom. I haven't had time to-, first, breathe. I thought as I took a deep breath.

"Relax," I say to myself in a small whisper. I hear my stomach and I am starving so I just ignore it and decide I need to get out of their bed.

I see Carina sitting on the couch watching a movie so I join her. I sit right next to her and she pulls me in a for side hug and I relax against her. She reached for the remote and turns the TV down.

"How was your sleep Bambina," the Italian asked rubbing my arm up and down.

"It's was okay," I said with a sigh. "Probably the best I've had in a while."

She didn't say anything back, she exhaled softly.

"Where's blondie," I asked.

Carina chuckled before she answered, "She went to get some groceries for dinner to-," Carina was cut off by the sound of my stomach talking.

She sat up which made me sit up as well. "Siena, are you hungry," she asks and I nod my head. "Why-," Carina was about to ask why didn't I tell her I'm pretty sure, but she stopped herself. "What do you want to eat?" I shrugged my shoulders.

Carina POV

I made my way to the kitchen to make Siena a sandwich. I can't believe she didn't tell me she was hungry. I see her get up from the couch and she comes sits at the island in the kitchen.

"Carina," she says. "Mhm," I hummed back. She didn't say anything for a while, I handed her the sandwich and tried again. "What is it, Bella?"

"Do you know how my mom died?" I can hear the sadness in her voice when she asked me. She takes a few bites out of the sandwich before I get the chance to respond. I nodded my head yes.

"She had a heart attack. She came to the hospital before you did, and she was asking about you and no one gave her any answers. Your dad was screaming at her and telling her to stop her whining. I think that her no knowing where you were scared her with made her blood pressure super high."

By the time I was explaining everything, Siena was finished with her sandwich, so I handed her a bottle of water. "So she was literally scared to death," she questioned.

I walked to her took her hand, "Siena, I'm so sorry Bambina."

Siena pulled away and huffed her breath. She got up from the stool and walked to the other side, putting her plate in the sink.

"What do you have to be sorry for I killed my mom. I started a fire, and get her killed," she said. "I-I-I wasn't trying to hurt her, I was trying to save us. I was trying to save us," she yelled. Obviously getting worked up, I tried to walk over to her, but she stepped back.

"My mom is dead, and I killed her," Siena expresses with tears streaming down her face. I walked closer this time and she didn't move. I pulled her in a for hug immediately before she could pull away.
