Jake P.O.V.
"Mm.."
"Jake."
"Hmm.."
"Jake wake up."
"What?"
"Breakfast."
"I'll be there." I opened my eyes sleep still tugging them shut. The blinds opened and couldn't see very well because of one my glasses not being on and two there was all of this blinding light in the room. For a second I didn't remember where I was or what happened then I remembered the pound, Jane, Roxy, seeing Dirk again, and transforming. It wasn't really all that complicated you get really anything of an emotion then poof you change human then after about a day or so you change back. I still had problems with this just randomly happening for Dirk I just guess because he always has so much un-shown emotion it just gets him more.
I got out of bed and went downstairs with Dirk. Roxy and Jane were already up and Jane was making breakfast. "Hey guys," Jane said.
"Yes," I said and Dirk didn't do much just looked at her he wasn't a morning person.
"N affence ment but do you eat human food or does it matter?"
"It won't matter really besides people food can also be dog food so in myy opiniong it doesn't matter."
"Dirk?" I waved my hand in front of his face he didn't do anything. I pulled off his shades and he was sleeping and sitting in his chair.
"I don't think he's paying attention let alone awake," I said.
"I'll just give him the same as everyone else."
"Good idea Janey~," Roxy said smiling.
"All right I'm going to go cook breakfast I'll be back," Jane said. So we stayed at the table while Jane made breakfast. Roxy was sipping her coffee as I was trying to get Dirk up. 'Did he even sleep last night?' I thought (He did he just isn't a morning person remember.) 'Shut up I know that already not that he slept but that he hates mornings' (What eves I'm going bye). I moved one strand of Dirk's hair without realizing and he instantly woke up and fixed his hair. I looked at his eyes that were so beautiful I don't think that it mattered that much to him at the moment because I had seen them so much before he had found the shades.
"Whoa," Roxy said.
"What?" I inquired.
"His eyes are so pretty!" she said excited. Dirk looked over at her and quickly grabbed his shades his eyes were wide just like a deer in headlights (I'm allowed to say that since I'm a dog). In my opinion it looked like he was going to strangle me.
"Jake," Dirk growled. I got up and ran he chased after me I thought I was done for until I tripped and he tripped over me. He started to crack up and I was flipping the heck out. I calmed down after awhile and he gave me a kiss on the forehead. He helped me up and gave me a hug then we went back downstairs. Dirk was too cute in my opinion durring that period of time. 'Jake stop crushing' I mentally slapped myself for crushing over my best friend.
