Jake P.O.V.
It has been two weeks since I last saw Dirk and I'll be seeing him today because of Jane's birthday . She kept talking about her cousin who she said was going to prank her no matter what. It made no scence to me except that Dirk and I weren't going to be the only half dogs or whatever since Jane's cousin's friend was coming over. She was part dog too. I was excited for the small party even if it was small. I wanted to meet these new people and everything.

It was finally time for the party and I was ready for cake that John, Jane's cousin, had made with help of course. Then came time for the cake. There was already sixteen candles in the cake and the the candles were lit. For some reason john kept stalling so none of them were blown out. When the were almost at end we sang the song then the cake exploded in Jane's face. She yelled at john and a food fight broke out. I got it smashed in my face and everyone was covered except Dirk who left just before the song was over, he was too smart for this. He came over to me when the fight was over and licked my cheek clean of icing and get me a few kisses on the lips and nibbled at my neck.
"All right what happened in here?" Jane's dad questioned.
