The hotel room door opens, and Mia makes her presence known.
"Whatever the two of you are or aren't doing under those covers needs to stop, right now, because I've got news for you."
Ava and Lexa share another kiss before turning their attention to Mia. "It better be good news, or else I'm going to have to kick your ass for interrupting us, Sister-in-law."
"You don't scare me in the least, Mewis, and I think it's good news."
"Spill, Mia." Ava sits up and looks at her sister.
"Cover the girls, 'cause no one except your wife wants to see them, and then I'll talk."
"Oh my God, Mia!" Ava pulls the covers up, so her chest is no longer showing.
"Thank you. And now, as I was saying before, being blinded by your pasty ass white chest. I mean, really, Sis? We live in Cali, step outside, and you get a tan. Anyways, I just saw Wren and Gabby in the hallway outside of your room."
"Okay, so what's so newsworthy about that?"
"Oh, did I forget to mention that they were kissing? I guess I did, my bad."
Lexa sits up, "They were kissing? For real?"
Mia rolls her eyes, "Fairly certain I know what kissing is, and they were in fact quite into it and each other, so much so that I'm not sure they even noticed me walking past them."
Ava's face lights up, "I guess that means they had the conversation, and it went well."
"What conversation?"
"Gabby's been feeling Wren all week, but she was scared to tell her about her background and the real reason she was here. I may have told her that if there was anyone she could trust with the info, it was Wren and that she needed to tell her."
Mia smiles, "I have to admit, they do make a cute couple; although the age difference might be an issue, not to mention it's not exactly walking or driving distance between LA and Raleigh."
Ava and Lexa both nod.
They hear ringing, and Ava's clues in that it's her phone and jumps out from underneath the covers to collect it from her pile of clothes on the floor.
Mia covers her eyes, "My eyes, my eyes, I'm blind!"
"Shut up, Mia."
Ava answers the call, "Hello?"
"Yep. I can be there in a few minutes. Okay, bye."
Ava pulls on her clothes and then makes her way back to her wife and kisses her, "HAO wants to speak with me. I'll see you shortly, Babe. Love you."
"Love you, A."
As Mia and Lexa watch Ava leave the room, they look at each other, "What do you think that's about?"
"I wouldn't be too concerned about it. You and I both know that Ava's been rocking it this camp, so I guarantee it's not her being told to pack up and leave."
"Do you think it's about Gabby, Mia? I mean, Ava was asked to look after her this week and what if someone else's besides you saw her and Wren kissing?"
"I don't think HAO will have an issue with them kissing; now, if they did more than that while under our watch, that could be a problem."
"Oh shit! I never even thought about that. I wonder if anyone has had the talk with Gabby?"
