Gabby feels lips press against her back and an arm around her hip. She smiles, "Morning."
Becca smiles, "Morning."
Gabby turns over and looks at Becca, leaning over to kiss her, "I really wish that we could stay like this."
"But, we can't. We need to hit the weights before class."
"Is it considered weight lifting if I allow you on top?" Gabby smiles as she says it.
Becca bursts out laughing, "Please, allow me to be in the room when you run that idea past Coach."
Gabby makes a face, "Yeah, nope; that's not happening! The last thing I need is HAO being in the know about us. She'll ask questions and honestly, I don't want to answer them."
"A question like when are you going to ask me to be your girlfriend?"
Gabby chuckles, "Probably, not like that and you know how I feel about you, Bex. So, why do we need to put a term on our relationship? We've been having fun together and I don't want to add any unnecessary pressure to it or us."
"It's a good thing you're cute, Gabriela, or else I'd seriously consider leaving this nice warm bed for another."
Gabby leans over and kisses her, "You wouldn't, because you feel it too."
"No idea what you're talking about. We should probably get up, the last thing we need is to be the last two players to arrive."
"The girls already have an idea that we're together."
"They do; but, unlike you, I'm fighting to get the start against Duke and don't need anything to happen that could land me on the bench for the match."
"Your Moms and Sister are flying in for the game; do you think you could introduce me?"
"I can definitely do that, but, no mention of us being anymore than just teammates, okay?"
"But, we are."
"I know, but, it's just, this is my first real relationship since what I had with Wren and don't want or need anyone judging me or us or trying to interfere in it. I just want for us to be in a bubble for a bit longer."
Becca nods, "I know, it's just I want to be able to tell everyone that I've got an amazing and talented, girlfriend."
"I made it very clear from the beginning that I was going to need time and space to be able to process and heal."
"You did, but, my heart didn't hear it, because, I fell in love with you, anyway." Becca kisses her nose before climbing over her to grab some clothes and start getting dressed.
Gabby turns over and watches, "Can I borrow some clothes?"
Becca chuckles, "I told you to bring some with you."
"And I didn't plan on spending the night, but, I don't regret it."
Gabby gets up and pulls on a combination of her and Becca's clothes before the two head down the hall to freshen up and grab a quick bite before heading to the gym.
"You change your number, Mewis?"
Gabby looks at her teammates who are laughing and down at her shorts, before realizing that she's currently wearing a pair of Becca's instead of her own.
"I, umm ... spilled some juice on mine."
"Uh huh, so, then why is Bex wearing your number?"
"Shit!"
