"Is everything okay out there?" Eduardo asks nervously. The two of us are leaning over the bar to watch what is happening outside.

"You are on the terras tonight." Eduardo looks at me with a perplexed look on his face. "It's your own fault for forcing my mother on me this morning." He raises his shoulders.

"Yeah, but that was before preciosa decided to sit down on the terras." I wave my bandaged hand in front of his eyes.

"Do you really think I can actually work, dude?" We both stare back out at the terras when we hear loud yelling.

"Can someone please assist me on the terras?" it chimes through the radio. I stare at Eduardo. If Niall sees me out there I am not sure my hand will be the only wound I get tonight.

"Okay, okay. I'll go," Eduardo says. I watch as he walks away and I try to peer through the window to see what is happening outside. My eyes watch as Niall throws a chair to the ground. A few of the other customers look at him with shocked faces. Anxiously I scan the terras for Emily, but I don't see her. Eduardo approaches Niall. I hope with all my heart that he will kick Niall out, but the opposite seems to happen. Side by side they walk into the bar. I look around me as if I have missed something. If only I could be swallowed by the earth right now. Eduardo approaches with Niall.

"Te odio," I hiss at him. Eduardo tries to suppress a smile.

"Take a seat!" He points to an empty barstool for Niall to sit on. "Tranquilo," he says to me. Eduardo's gaze goes to Niall and then back to me again. "El es un cliente."

I don't care that he's a customer. I want him out of this establishment.

"Estupido," I whisper. Eduardo gives me a brotherly pat on the back.

"Harry will get you something to drink and I will be back shortly with your food." He disappears into the kitchen. At the mention of my name I can see Niall's face tense up.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"Thanks a lot." Niall throws a coaster over the bar.

"Sorry?" I ask with raised eyebrows. "What?"

"If she didn't have you, we would be happy right now." What? Did I just get in the middle of a relationship? No, they're not together like that, right? Emily told me they were friends.

"If she didn't have you, she wouldn't have walked away right now." Niall's eyes grow bigger.

"If she didn't have me, she would have never even been here."

"Do you want me to thank you for that?" I frown. I am grateful for Niall bringing her into my life. Emily definitely brightens up Mallorca. "I still don't know what you want, dude." Niall raises his shoulders. "I am serious, what do you want to drink?" I repeat myself. If Eduardo comes back to find Niall without a drink I will have to hear about how I can't do anything right.

"Beer," he hisses. I take a glass and try to tap a beer with my hurt hand.

"What are you even worried about?" Niall takes the beer from me.

"Have you seen how she looks at you?" I casually raise my shoulders. I can't deny Emily is a great girl. I would be lying to myself if I did. "What do you have that I don't?" Niall downs the beer in one go.

"Tattoos." Niall raises his eyebrows. I struggle to keep from laughing.

"Don't expect too much out of it," he says. "She doesn't want you, not really."

"Cause you're the expert on what she wants?"

"Come on, you're not good enough for her. She'll find out for herself sooner or later and then she'll come crawling back to me."
