*The Bleuprint*
~Derrick~
"Derrick, I made a thousand in tips last night. I was on a roll." Elaine said as she leaned on the bar.
Elaine was the bartender at the club that I owned called, The Bleuprint. I have one of the hottest clubs in downtown L.A. All types of people hit up my spot every weekend. Sometimes, it's hard to get in.
"Yeah. Hm." I said as I kept tapping my phone.
"Ok, where is Derrick? What have you done with him?" Elaine asked as she took my phone.
I sighed.
"Sorry Elaine, I got a lot on my plate right now. I'm not fully here today. I apologize." I said as sat up straight.
"It's okay, boss. What you trying to do on this phone? You've been tapping for about twenty minutes."
"My baby girl lost her cellphone. I was looking on the internet to see how to track it. The day I got the phone, Chance showed me how to track my contacts. I don't remember now." I said as I fixed the napkins on the table.
"I can show you. All you have to do is, click this little 'i' button and scroll down. It should at least show where the last location was."
I watched Elaine clicked the location.
"Hey thanks, you made it so easy." I said chuckling as I grabbed my phone.
"Derrick, we got to get you more tech savvy." Elaine said laughing.
"Whatever. You just make sure you make those good drinks tonight. Let me go get my baby's phone. I might get the kids some lunch and run other errands. I'll be back before six tonight."
"Alright, be safe. Send the kids my love." Elaine said as I started walking towards the exit.
"Will do."
I hopped in the car and started it as I put my cellphone onto the cellphone holder.
"284 Browder St, Los Angeles, CA 90011." I said to myself as I started to get confused.
That address sounds so familiar, but it's on the other side of town.
I don't care as long as I can find my baby girl's phone. Daddy is too cheap to buy another one.
I put my car in reverse as I started jamming to some of my old school music. If I was going to ride somewhere, I had to jump my music wherever I go.
I spent the next couple of minutes listening to the O'Jays, Tevin Campbell, Hi-Five, Stevie Wonder, and Chaka Khan.
"And the destination is to your left. 284 Browder St, Los Angeles, CA 90011."
"What the hell?" I said as I parked to the side and quickly got out.
Why in the hell is my daughter's phone at a crack house?
I hurried into the house. I instantly went upstairs. I knew that was her favorite spot.
"DINA!" I said as I seen Dina laid out on an air mattress.
"Hm?" Dina said as she laid on the left side then switched to the right side.
I looked everywhere as I noticed a bottle of water.
I quickly got the water bottle and splashed it on Dina.
"WHAT THE HELL?"
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING BACK HERE? WHY THE HELL IS RYAN'S PHONE HERE?" I asked yelling as I quickly snatched her up.
