A/N: hi so it took awhile to figure what to do with the in between of two big events and still have it interesting. Enjoy <3

The first month of school passed by without a hitch. Edge didn't interact with me even once and I spent most of my time with the dance hall club. I actually joined it but I'll be useless during actual show time. Apparently Cain was a tech whiz which was surprising since he seemed dumber than dirt to me.

Today began the first week of dance rehearsals and fittings for each songs outfit change. I was sitting in the corner with their snacks and water bottles watching them. You couldn't even begin to fully explain how charismatic Emily was, gliding across the floor like a swan in water.

Jax, a 5 foot maybe 10 inch, short brown haired guy stood in front of the DJ panel tweaking the audio output. He dressed exactly as you'd imagine a rich kid to dress. On the first day of school he wore beige golfers shorts and a white, perfectly ironed t-shirt with pink accents and a front breast pocket. Belted although it still sagged, exposing his brand name boxers.

I walked into one of the back rooms where they kept all the refreshments and lounging for the dance crew. Taking a icy cold water from the fridge. Sat on the counter was two canteens i had seen before.

Vodka?

I opened one up, bringing it closer to my face to smell it. It had a salty iron tinge to it. I let a single drop fall into the sink, and there fell a deep red splash. Was this some weird rich kid drink that people only got to brag about the fact they could afford it? Like whale blood of perhaps something more exotic. I closed it back up, setting it back and rinsing the small splash down the drain. I decided I should bring them the good stuff instead of anteater blood cousine.

I walked back out with my water, and over to the dressing room. To then begin helping Lia pin fabric so she could sow it all together.

"How many have you finished already?"

"About ten. I have some friends from a summer camp a few years back that'll be helping me finish up in time next week." She answered, sticking a pin in between her teeth as she stretched some fabric tighter before directing me to hold it as she pinned it in place.

"How about this weekend we have a mini slumber party to celebrate all we've accomplished so far?"

"But we could do that after the show?"

"True but it'd also be a nice break from all the stress of preparing. You guys having been running around non-stop trying to get everything in order." I stretched another piece of fabric for her. "It'd be nice to just cool down for a weekend."

"If we can finish this sets costumes today then I'll prepare a sleepover!"

"Please, allow me. No need to exert yourself with that too."

"No need, I love hosting. Unless you'd like to host?"

I thought on it for a moment. I didn't really have space for so many people to sleep, not to mention I doubt my parents would be okay with boys sleeping over. I nodded as she slid in another pin. We had this costume and one more to finish for this set. Today was Thursday but since we were already so ahead on today's outfit I think we'll be just fine on the due date Lia set.

We were there for hours until we forcibly had to go since the school was closing for the night. Some of the others slipped off to their dorm rooms as me and Lia headed out the front to her car. It was a really nice sports car, not something you'd expect from a high school student. It was a dark shiny black with whips of electric pink across the sides, it even glowed under headlights like crossing guard vests. The headlights had been customized into hearts and the back rim was curved out on both sides like horns. It felt almost illegal for someone like me to step foot in something so expensive. The right door handle was probably worth more than my life.
