The lady that had interrupted our little rendezvous, walked through one of the rows looking around. I held my breath, my whole body shaking a bit from tensing so hard.
"Hmm I could've sworn I heard someone in here..." she scratched her head and left, closing the door behind her. I let out a massive sigh and laid back against the ground looking over to Edge as he slowly crawled out from under the desk. We both burst out into laughter before he pulled me out from under the desk.
"That was some intense hide and seek" I giggled, standing up. He did the same, pulling his backpack over his shoulder.
"Probably not best to stay in here" he said staring down at me. His eyes seemed to glow even in the dimly lit classroom. He was much taller than I, maybe 6"3-6"4.
"Let's go to the assembly" I smiled. Knowing he meant to go somewhere more private to continue our "conversation" from earlier. He groaned as I pulled him off. The assembly was for homecoming. I don't think I really listened to anything, I just liked that Edge sat there pouting that I dragged him there.

Come 6th period, we had a new student. Apparently it was a pre-planned arrangement for him to come in this late in the semester. He walked in several minutes late, boldly slamming the door open and strutting in with a smug grin plastered across his face.
"Hello!" He said widely. He had long blonde ringlets of hair, and a eyebrow piercing with two silver spikes. Missing the schools vest, he wore a black button up that wasn't even buttoned all the way up. He looked over at me and pursed his lips, something about him felt magnetic. Perhaps just the charisma.
"My name is Xavier Collins" he breathed, his voice felt like silk running into my ears, slithering around in my insides. He stared at me as he spoke, licking up my soul and constricting it with his cobalt eyes. "Pleasure to make your acquaintances" he bowed gracefully before turning on his foot and leaning against the teachers desk to say hi.
I watched his slick movements as he moved through the room, and so did the class. He had herded all our attention to him effortlessly. He sat a few seats away from me. His attention from me faded after that but my mind had begun to fill with him. His scent as he walked past of cedar and soap, his suave voice like that of a snakes, even his mannerisms all pulled me towards him.
Around Xavier's neck sat a shiny steel chain charmed with the Leviathan's cross. The teacher snapped out of her stunned stature and stood up.
"Everyone welcome our new student. Please show him around if you get the chance." She clapped.
Some guys began to introduce themselves to blondie as the teacher set up a presentation.
What a daring introduction.

After school me and Lia managed to finish the last costume just in time for the slumber party tomorrow. I was even allowed to try on the one Cassie would wear. We actually passed out on eachother during break time and the others had to deal with our unconscious corpses.
Emily brought us into her dorm apparently and we woke up on her floor in a pile of blankets.
"Ahhh bright!" Lia cried shading her eyes from the open blinds.
"Good morning!" Emily shrilled, poking her head out from the dorms bathroom. A white towel with ducks and ferns all over it twisted around her hair and another plain towel wrapped around her waist.
