Season 2:Episode 3: Love, Alex

After breakfast everyone was full and happy. The guys even helped with the dishes. During breakfast Ray had discussed what the guys have gone through. Ray said that he was going to help in any way that he can. Ray wanted to help these guys because they helped Julie so much. And he may just be an old dad, he could see the way Julie and Luke look at eachother. Once they finished they walked back into the studio before Alex decided he wanted to try and see Willie. The last time he saw Willie he was afraid that he may have scared him off because of the hug. And he wanted to make sure that Willie was okay.

Reggie decided that he should go and see if the cheerleaders can see him, and if so, get some digits. Before they left Julie made sure to tell them to be careful because she didn't want them running into Caleb. Julie may have never met Caleb but she sure as heck hated him. And then off they went. Luke really didn't have anywhere to be. But to be honest he just wanted to be there with Julie. So they decided to work on the song for the assignment Julie was doing with Nick.

"Okay so it is supposed to be a more of a slow song so maybe something like this." said Luke. And as Julie predicted it was perfect Harmony. She hated writing this song knowing that she would have to dance it with Nick. But she couldn't stop it so she tried to enjoy what she and Luke were doing for right now.

Meanwhile Alex roamed the streets of Hollywood m trying to find Willie. He tried looking outside the Orpheum, and near the beach, and even outside the cafe but no Willie. Alex thought this might just be a waste of time. So he went to the park and sat down at a bench. To his luck Alex saw Willie in a more seclusive part of the park, no one was there but Willie. Alex called out after Willie but once Wille saw Alex he skated off. But Alex wasn't having any of that. Alex wasn't very athletic but he ran after Willie with all his might.

Eventually once he was close enough to Willie he poofed right in front of Willie causing them to crash. They fell to the ground. They both moaned at the pain and Willie tried escaping but Alex stopped him.

"Wille, what's going on. I wanted to talk to you since we didn't crossover but you just keep running away. That's all I ever see you do anymore. Why?" Alex's voice started to crack. This was his first crush and he was going to be heartbroken if Willie left. He needed to hear why he kept running away.

"Alex, I am sorry but I haven't seen Caleb in a while and I am afraid of what is going to happen. I think it would be best if we just go our separate ways. I'm sorry." and then Willie started to skate away. Alex was sure his heart was going to break. But he was more mad then sad so he poofed in front of Wille again leaving some space so they wouldn't crash again.

"Wille, I care about you and I don't want to lose you. I don't care what Caleb is going to do okay? So stop running away. If you want to go then go but I don't want to see you spying on me and the guys." Alex was hurting by saying this but he wasn't going to let his heart break. So instead he was going to do the breaking. He started walking away and not looking back in fear he would start to cry. But he didn't hear Willie walking towards him or skating away. The only noise he heard was the sound of his feet. He turned around but Willie was gone. He must have poofed away. Without a goodbye. Alex walked home almost in tears but he held it together.

Julie and Luke were just about done with Perfect Harmony and Reggie had just shown up too. He was able to get Kalyas phone number. They were all just talking amongst themselves until Alex came in when they all saw his face they knew something was wrong. No words were spoken, just a group hug trying to comfort Alex. When they pulled away a single tear was sliding along his face.

"Alex I am so sorry. I know this must hurt." said Julie while patting Alex's back.

"Yeah it does, why did I think it would work out between us. I mean, maybe my parents were right to be ashamed of me." said Alex.

"No way don't even think that for a minute Alex, you are a great guy and who you like shouldn't matter." Luke always knew what to say during this kind of thing. So did Reggie he always lightened the mood.

"Yeah, and besides things have changed in the past 25 years. I mean people are proud of themselves." said Julie hoping she could comfort Alex.

"I doubt it." Alex pulled away from the hug and put his hands into his pockets.

"You know I think I know a way to help you get over Willie and show you things have changed. Plus you can get some of those tears out." said Julie with a smile starting to form.

Reggie was sent out to go get some snacks while Julie and Luke hung a white sheet in the studio. Ray came in and helped set up the projector while Julie pulled up a movie. Once they were finished Reggie had 3 bags full of candy, chips, and soda's. Julie grabbed a few tissue boxes and a small trash can. They also got blankets and pillows and got settled in.

"Hey what movie are we going to watch anyways?" asked Reggie. He was pumped for a movie night but he wanted to know at least what the movie was about.

"We are going to watch Love, Simon," said Julie.

"Um, Julie I appreciate what you are trying to do but a cheesy romance flick about the guy getting the girl? I really don't think that will help." Alex was sceptical.

"Trust me this movie will do the trick." and then Julie pressed play. After about two hours of sobbing, laughing, eating, and hugs Alex did feel better. He had never seen a movie like that. The ending was just so inspiring and it was definitely showing him what these times we're all about.

"So Alex, are you feeling any better?" Everyday Alex was more and more surprised on how much Julie cares for all of them. I mean sure, it's no denying that she has a thing for Luke but for him and Reggie it just felt like good friends. Now it was like he was his sister or best friend. Maybe a bit of both.

"Yeah I do, thank you Julie, and thank you guys. You didn't have to watch, I know it might have made you slightly uncomfortable." Alex was super appreciative about his friends.

"Don't worry man, this was a really good movie." Once again Reggie helped him out.
